I have 2 Catnapper chairs and over a period of time, I've had to keep splicing the wires that would break on the wand. Finally, I couldn't fix them any more. The store where we bought the chairs quoted an exorbitant price for replacement wands so I did an Amazon search and found out that 5 pin wands were fairly universal and easy to replace. I ordered 2 of these 2 button wands for an extremely reasonable price. They arrived in 2 days, it took less than 5 minutes to replace the wands on both chairs. The cords are much better than the originals, my wife was surprised that her chairs worked flawlessly, I saved a lot of money and felt like a hero. Thank you very much.

Works perfectly for my Best Home Furnishings recliner

My husband had surgery and cannot bear weight on his right leg and he needs to have it elevated. This will be a long recovery. I was fortunate to find a used La-Z-Boy Luxury-Lift Power-Recliner locally on Craigslist for $50. Only problem, the buttons on the control were not always connecting so it took patience to get it to work. I found this hand control and made sure it had the correct connection (90º, not straight, five-pin). I ordered it on a Sunday night and it was on our front door step Tuesday morning. I just connected it (very easy, raise chair, unplug original, plug in replacement, then use connectors and zip ties following the original path) and it's perfect! Not only do the buttons work but the solid connection makes the motor move a lot faster than the very tired original control. (Pictures are of thevery tired original control and the replacement)

I have a 15 year old Catnapper electric recliner. It suddenly stopped working. We tried everything and I realized that if I shook or banged my remote it worked for a minute. Bought this remote and it is is perfect. The price is great and I can recline again!!

My grandma's chair stopped working and she had some "Specialist" come and look at it and she was told it was her motor. I fooled around with her chair and was also convinced. She had a neighbor with a similar chair and the same controller. I borrowed the controller to test on the chair with a bad lift motor and and it worked perfectly. Went online to get a price for new controller and about choked on my chewing gum with how expensive they are.... Then I found this controller. Fit perfectly and works perfectly. Thank you for the great deal and for saving my grandma from being robbed and having to buy a new lift chair. Been in use for a couple months now, and it still works perfectly. I didn't post a review right away, just to make sure it wasn't an item that broke 2 weeks after purchase. And it's a sturdy and reliable controller. Great purchase. I thought had a bad motor on my reclining sofa. Tested with the button from other side of coach and determined it was the built in switch. The switch is on the inside arm and every time we moved on the coach the switch would raise or lower the recliner. Bought this to by pass the bad switch and not have the recliner go up and down by it self. This works great, would have given it 5 stars just wish it had a non-coiled cord.

Was able to directly plug this into the connectors inside my recliner and get the reclining function to work again! As this was a "middle section" of a sectional I had to, and was able to, route the wire up through the cushions so I could set it on the "little table" we put on the middle of the couch to hold drinks, remotes, etc. Works really well and seems reliable after 2 months of many uses per day...

Product was straightforward to hook up and is easy to operate. It's a little larger than the original controller that came with the chair, but it works as expected.
