Perfect for keeping it under water, hanging tied to the diving block, while swimming
The Casio HS-80TW, the full black version, and the Casio HS-70W (which is black, grey and yellow and is being reviewed here) share the same watch box but in different colors. It is a box that makes them super tough and very long lasting. They are the best value for the money. The only difference between, other than the color of the box, is that the HS-80TW has additionally a countdown timer and a super complete football mode. If you are not a football referee you are probably doing fine with the HS-70W. I have had two HS-80TW in almost eight years of use. I have used them alternatively several times a week for swimming. During my training they are always under 10 centimeters of water, hanging tied to the diving block and I press the bottoms under water a lot of times. After eight years, one of them gave up and I had to buy a replacement. I decided to go for the HS-70W, instead of the HS-80TW, because of the different esthetics, which help me to differentiate them. Since the boxes are exactly the same, I am expecting the HS-70W to last as long as my two HS-80TW.
