Good fit and quality
Perfect fit and fuction for Volvo's engine B6304T2. I have a Volvo 3.0 T6 2009.

Perfectly Fit 3.2L NA Volvo S80 from 2007 - needed a little tap-a-roony with a rubber mallet and wood block to get it properly seated once it was 90% in place. A bit fiddly to get properly placed (rubber gasket centered in plastic cap, spring properly in place) and once the cap is partially snapped in place, there's no going back. Perfectly doable, just be careful. Fixed the P0171 / P0174 / P0455 combo that I was seeing that was accompanied by the strange whistle/fart noise that I was hearing and the vacuum on the oil cap that I was feeling.

Unit is just like OEM Volvo part on my 2009 XC70 T6. As shown in the pictures, the orange sealing area does NOT have a diagonal cut in it like the Amazon product page pictures show. The original Volvo part does not have it either. You have to be very careful removing the cover, best to do it with a few small screwdrivers pushing the tabs in then gently pry the cover up with a large flathead screwdriver. I broke 2 tabs on mine doing this, but the new cover and pvc diaphragm snapped right in easily. The original Volvo PVC diaphragm was white and still good on my car. Good luck :-)

The alternative is to replace the complete oil separator box for more than 200CAD, when this part is the actual issue and the rest of the separator is a passive part of the system. It is simple to install, measured in seconds. The old unit doesn't like coming off without breaking off the mounting tabs, but the new one just snaps on. This got rid of a chirping noise, high crank case vacuum, plus it smoothed out the shifts of the transmission when cold (the transmission computer uses manifold vacuum???).
