Osprey Hydraulics Water Reservoir Cleaning Kit

This is a fantastic product to help your hydration reservoir / bladder stay clean and mold free! Before this, we were using household items to try to prop open the reservoirs for complete drying and it was always a struggle. The included hanger does the trick and keeps the entire bladder open for complete drying. The brush set is also great for cleaning any mineral deposits or mold in the tubes. The kit is a worthy investment and comes wtih everything you need to clean and dry your reservoir. The quality is very good and should last a long time. As a added bonus, the kit comes with a ventilated storage bag to keep all the components together!

This works great to clean and dry the inside of my osprey water bladder.

Everything works great. I was skeptical that the hanger frame would trap some water in the bottom of the bladder and prevent it from evaporating entirely (Osprey Hydraulics bladder), but that wasn’t the case at all. It allowed the bladder to get bone dry much more quickly than propping it open. The snake-like bottle brush is awesome. When the coil is straightened it’s super stiff to allow you to push it a long ways down a tube, works great to clean your hoses. Very happy with this purchase.

For a couple of years I have messed around with coat hangers and plastic pieces to dry out my hydration bladder. This fits my Ospry 3L hydration bladder well. I have the slide seal style that is completely open on the end when undone, not a round screw top hole. You will NOT be able to use this with a bladder that isn't completely open on the end, it will not fit through a round hole!

There is nothing in the world quite like getting out on the trail and having your water taste like mold. The biggest challenge I've had with hydration packs (since the 1990's when CamelBak became a thing) was cleaning the bladder and hoses. A cleaning kit is really a must have. This is way more convenient than stuffing the bladder with paper towels and trying to get them back out again, and a long wire brush for the hoses is a god-send. I got this specific kit when I bought my new Osprey pack, and I'm glad I did.

I had tried to buy a less expensive one but it didn’t do the trick. This one is fantastic and will have your tubing looking like new. The only problem I experienced was the hanger to dry it out doesn’t quite fit because I have a 1.5 L Osprey bladder with dividers that get in the way. I still use it to air out after cleaning, I just put only half of it inside. Overall it’s fantastic!

Un peu cher, mais meilleur produit pour le nettoyage des poches à eau, parfaitement adapté a celles de la marque Osprey mais fonctionne aussi avec CamelBack ou autre, ergonomique, facile d’utilisation et vendu avec une housse de rangement très pratique, un investissement sur le long terme indispensable pour avoir une poche sans champignons ! Il devrait presque être vendu avec par défaut, même si inutile d’en avoir plusieurs exemplaires au cas où on possède plusieurs poches.

It’s an essential for cleaning an osprey hydraulics pack properly but it’s a bit pricey, especially considering you have to buy a mouth piece cover separate aswell
