LED+ Motion

These are fabulous. Anyone who worries about intruders might consider adding this to their home. Especially if you have security cameras as this will light up as soon as someone walks on to your property and the cameras can see better. We bought and easily installed (screwing alight bulb in) so that if someone were to drive or walk up to our home the lights would click on. The nice thing is if you are having a party and want the lights on without shutting off you flick the switch 3 times and they are like normal lights. You can easily go back to security lights when the party is over and you are off to bed. One caution, the lights need motion to go off. Some light fixtures hang down and the motion may not work as easily as if they were directed out to a moving object. We still have this bulb in our pendant but it goes off a little later. This means if someone walked up to our front door it would not go off until they were under the pendant. Boom a ray of light on them. Perfect for us. We find this product to be outstanding and have recommended this to our friends. Its just one more way to stay safe.

I like the warmth and brightness of the light - it isn't artificial looking and has good temperature for a LED. Motion sensing is responsive - it comes on when I walk by. It is just about right in terms of sensitivity. Stays on for a few minutes after motion stops. I think dusk to dawn is wasteful and light polluting so this seems like the best solution. This hangs slightly inside the bottom of my fixture but there is no negative impact on motion responsiveness. Replaced Ring smart bulbs that had an ugly color temp, unreliable integration with Ring ecosystem, and unreliable ability to shut off/on, with lights often becoming out of synch with the app settings (to include brightness constantly resetting to minimum values and bulb being lit when app said it was off and vice versa). Though these bulbs cannot integrate with Ring, they provide better reliability for what I need in an exterior light bulb.

I would give these 5 stars but one of the lights sensor went bad after 3 weeks and the light stayed on all the time. Could not get it to reset or turn off.

Not much to be said. These are great bulbs for the money and very bright which might be a concern for some. These were for our garage so bright is good. My only complaint is I wish the motion detection was just a bit more sensitive. I have a LIFX bulb inside the garage that will go on as soon as I open our garage side door. These bulbs are installed inside the house at the top and bottom of our stairs leading to the garage. When I open our hallway door the light doesn't turn on until I move through the door. I would expect it should turn on as soon as it detects the door swing open like our LIFX bulb. BTW, I've that bulb for at least 5 years now and I can't find it anymore. To finish, I'm still very satisfied with these bulbs but they would not work very well if installed in a light fixture.

Turns on sometimes if you’re lucky. Have to turn switch off and on every day to “reactivate” it. Box says just screw it in and it will turn on when sensing motion. Not my experience. Might as well just have a normal bulb and use the switch. Just an expensive led bulb at this point.

They work well indoors in small spaces but not in larger room or outdoor

Put these on the outside wall lights...light up when the delivery guys come after it gets dark so do the job.

I bought a set of two, one of them didnt work so I had to return this unfortunately. The one that did work was bright enough and worked well, however the motion detection wasnt as sensitive as I thought it would be.
