NANUKDJI Drone Waterproof Hard Case with Custom Foam Insert for DJI Phantom 4/ Phantom 4 Pro (Pro+) / Advanced (Advanced+) & Phantom 3-945-DJI43 Orange

This case was exactly what I needed and then some. If you are reading the reviews on a case for a DJI Phantom 3, I don't need to tell you that they are an investment and not a cheap toy. So why settle for something that will offer minimal protection. I chose this over the similar Pelican case due to the attractive price, and what appeared to be better layout inside. Nanuk has so far not disappointed me. This case is very well made.Pros:- The latching system on this case is far superior to any of the other hard cases I have owned.- The foam cutouts are very precise and hold everything securely in place. I don't feel as if anything will be damaged during transport due to shifting.- PLENTY of storage for everything you need to bring with you and then some.- I bought the orange one. I love the hi visibility color, I don't feel I will lose this one.- Can be used as a stand for your quad copter during take off and landing.- Lock holes are convenient for traveling. TSA locks can be purchased separately from Nanuk.- Despite its size, I find it very easy to carry. They do have an optional shoulder strap I have not yet tried as that is a separate purchase.- The lid has some sort of two stage opening, where it "locks" open and wont easily slam closed on you.Cons:- Maybe its just me being paranoid, but I did find the inside of the tablet portion to be a bit rough, I use a screen protector so I am not worried about scuffs or scratches, but I can see it maybe leaving marks on an unprotected tablet, especially if dirt or debris blew in there.- I wish the locks were included, I have seen some reviewers state they received locks with theirs, maybe they come on certain models, or early adopters.- Not carry on sized, if flying you will need to check this one.

This case is a BEAST! I purchased the yellow Nanuk 945 to hold my DJI Phantom 4 and all of its accessories. I don't know why, but I expected it to be smaller; I never read the actual measurements, but this isn't a problem at all. It feels very solid all around. The handle is beefy and the locks are very secure. They unlock by squeezing the release and lifting up. The foam inside is sturdy and I didn't notice any chemical smell that can sometimes accompany cases and foam like this. I purchased and attached the Nanuk shoulder strap to mine (see photos) as I like to have my hands free when carrying the equipment around. Without any drone equipment in it, this case weighs around 8 to 10 pounds. With the drone and accessories in it, the weight increases a good bit. If you're planning to manually carry this case a long distance, you might want to consider the version with wheels or purchase the shoulder strap as well.My only complaint about this case is that the tablet section is too small to hold a 9" iPad. I really think the shoulder strap should have come with the case instead of it being a separate purchase, but I won't knock them for it this time.Pro: Strong and durable construction. Waterproof. Shoulder strap attachment points. Perfect drone fit. Spacious.Con: Holds iPad mini and not the 9" iPad. Shoulder strap sold separately.

Beautiful, heavy duty , serious protection for your expensive drone . I was hesitant at first because some reviewers said the 4 was not a good fit and that the insert was mostly for the phantom 3 or previous models .No worries now - it's a perfect fit for the Phantom 4 copter, batteries and controller. ( just be sure to request the appropriate insert when ordering as I did) this case is sold with inserts for the Phantom 3 or the Phantom 4 so be sure to request the right one when ordering. Also fits my IPad mini 4 nice and snug ( without the iPad case I usually keep it in - no biggie) all contents fit nicely and there's plenty room for extra gear as well. I will be ordering the optional carry strap as this case is rather large and once loaded can be a little heavy if you need to carry it for long distances or any length of time. EXTREMELY happy with this purchase ! Quality made - very tough case . Worth every penny .

I did extensive research for a case that would protect my phantom 3 while in transport. Not only does this case protect the Phantom but it keeps everything intact and in place without any wiggle. PLUS, the propellers can stay on while in the case, so I can simply take the drone out and be ready to fly in seconds. I thought about buying the official DJI backpack but after reading all the reviews I realized that it could potentially break/crack and ruin the drone all together. The Naku case is well made, very strong and includes closing latches with a locking mechanism on each, which must be pressed before they can open, this is perfect for me, because I know there's no chance of the case opening while in transport, plus it is water proof and impact resistant. The only thing I can think of that some may find inconvenient, is the size of the case, which is not small at all, but if you want the absolute best protection for your DJI phantom 3, then look no further, because this is it.Below, I will include the measurements for the case inside and out, so I hope this review helps you.. The exterior measures: 25.1" in length, 19.9" in width and 8.8" in height.The interior measures: 22" in length, 17" in width and 8.2" in height.

Very impressive case! Better quality than Pelican of which I own 2 Pelicans. It has a finer quality finish, the handle is rugged yet soft to the touch. The 4 latches each has a release button so that there cannot be any unplanned openings. The case itself has a very substantial hinge and the lid stays open as pictured. There is a pressure relief valve built in for travel in aircraft or high country.The foam insert is all pre-cut for the Phantom 3 and also for all of the accessories. Everything fits nicely and is well layed out and organized. There is even a slot for the iPad mini just to the right of the aircraft.Nanak brand is made in Canada is is of high quality. I am going to order a couple more cases for camera gear etc.Highly recommend this case no matter your needs or hobbies!

Bonne valise MAIS reçu dans la mauvaise couleur malgré mon choix (probablement un bug car toutes les valises sont identifiées comme jaunes même lorsqu'on choisit une autre teinte) solution un envoi après retour du produit, vu les délais ça n'est pas possible, de plus manque un cadenas et la bandoulière qui pour le prix mériterait d'être inclus !! aucune réponse du vendeur après mon mail... Bref un peu déçu, d'autant que la valise pourrait tenir beaucoup plus si leur mousse était mieux étudiée, ex la fente pour iPad n'accepte qu'un iPad mini !! seulement 4 emplacements batterie alors qu'il pourrait y en avoir 6 et pas de place pour les protection d'hélice dans la grande poche à droite. Tout ca fait que pour le meme prix voir moins cher vous pouvez trouver un autre modèle qui logera votre phantom 4 pro aussi bien voir mieux. Je ne recommande pas ce vendeur.

Just got the case today for my Phantom 4! The outside is very slick and professional looking. The foam cuts are very nice although my Galaxy tab E would not fit but after cutting a bit of the foam with a knife i was able to get it in there just fine. I bought this case obviously to protect my drone while i'm on the go but also for the ability to keep the props on the drone all the times. With the props on the case can still close which will speed up set up time greatly(does not close with prop guards on). The case is much larger then the foam case DJI supplies and most likely is to big to be a carry on when traveling so just take that into consideration before you buy it. It does not come with a shoulder strap just the holes to attach one which i will probably just make myself as the drone weight + Case weight is to much to carry by the handle for any extended period of time. Lots of room left in the case once the essentials are packed. The manufacturer offers custom printing on the outside of the case if thats something your into maybe buy it from their website instead of amazon. I like the idea of nobody knowing what is inside the case especially if i end up checking it at the airport. So far i would say buy it! You spent 2 grand on a drone plus your tablets value to whats another 300$ to keep that stuff in working condition.
