Excellent finish and build quality. Having all cables (except the RCA subwoofer cable) included is nice. However, I upgraded cables mostly for aesthetics. I do have some cable management ahead of me since between the subwoofer and the speakers there’s a crazy amount of power and audio cables, along with a Google Chromecast Audio dongle via the 3.5mm input. Sound quality and imaging for near field in a small office setting is very good, although don’t expect much bass. I’m pairing with a REL Tzero MKIII subwoofer in the same gloss black finish and it really rounds out the sound. If you’re a bass head you may want to step up to a larger subwoofer than the Tzero. I do recommend the Kanto stands as well unless your setting puts them closer to ear level. I’d have preferred something like the KEF LSX but can’t see forking out $1400 for a desktop speaker that’ll still need a subwoofer. I also needed something smaller than the KEF. These are a reasonable compromise, especially for the price. They also appeared “as new” with no indication they’d ever been opened or put to use. I give a solid two thumbs up for my overall experience with these, considering my expectations, knowing these won’t replace my main system and the price. 👍🏼👍🏼

Gosh, I am quite impressed with these speakers. I am using the USB connection (and built-in YU2 DAC )with an M2 laptop and Dell monitor. I am really into music and have a number of stereo systems up and running. I play the piano. The sound from these small speakers is impressive. Great tone, dynamics, imaging with CD quality files from Tidal. I plan to add an M&K K9 subwoofer in a day or two; the speakers are still breaking in! They are near field speakers, so 32-36 inches from your ear is best. Tilted up to point to your ear on each side. Toed in a bit. Great product!

was expecting used with scratches but they are brand new and sound really good. Will sound even better with a sub. overall great set of speakers and quality.
