**Q: Does it read "Home Again" chips?**
A: Yes, the Halo does read HomeAgain microchips.

**Q: Our new scanner says no tag found on our 7 year old lab with a 1o digit homeagain chip. 4a7c25xxxx. should it read this chip.  all 15 digit chips read**
A: It reads our Homeagain. But please check to see if the chip may have moved on ur pet. Our 1 boxer girls chip moved all the way down to her leg-in the front of her leg. It took us a while to find it. Which is scary because a lot of the time the humane offices don't take the time to look for it, so I'll be rechipping my girl.

**Q: Does this work for Found Animals chips? Thank you.**
A: Yes, Reads all chips except the 10 digit AKC chip and the 9 digit Avid chip.

**Q: If it comes across an Avid chip that won't read, does it tell you that or just act like no chip was found?**
A: If it can’t read a chip, you will not receive a message saying so. It will just say chip not found. I have this same scanner and have no problems reading AVID chips.
