It was great for the first few weeks. Now it turns off for no reason in the middle of the night or and hour after it's been on. It's really unfortunate because I do like this product, wish it stayed on until it ran out of water like the description states.

Arrived as advertised. Holds a lot of water which i love so I don't have to re-fill as often. The white plastic piece in the middle is little too thick so the colors don't really show through but thats not a deal breaker for me. Would purchase again.

Sooooooo disappointed with this product! I have been wanting an air diffuser for months since many of my coworkers have them and I enjoy when they have them on. I live in a studio apartment and sometimes when I cook the whole place smells like food, so I light candles a lot. I thought a diffuser would be the perfect fix!I ordered on 12/16 via Amazon Prime and eagerly awaited for Monday to arrive so I can use my diffuser at home that evening. I also ordered my favorite oil (frankincense) which arrived that day; I had a meal to cook - I was excited!!I waited to get home to open the box, which did not show the product just simply read "air diffuser." When I got home I opened the box and was a bit disappointed by the look of the faux wood, but I figured it would look different when the lights were on and mist spewing. I followed the minimal instructions, seemed simple enough, the lights turned on a mist came out for a few minutes before it just STOPPED working.The mist light begins flashing red and that is it. I tried pressing all the other buttons, pressing twice, three times (inventing my own codes because the instructions do not say what to do in this case). Eventually I noticed that when I held the mist button down it would work, and I taped the button down for a bit -- same conclusion. Eventually the mist button starts flashing red and the mist and the lights stop.Now that is frustrating, but things break, right? (However, I am the third person to write about this same issue, so there might be more to it)So I write in the next morning and I expect the excellent service that I usually get from Amazon. They take about 12 hours to write back (I would guess they are in an Asian country) and then very generously offer to provide me a refund or send me a new one. I was pleased by this, I thought they handled it appropriately and fairly quickly. I still want an air diffuser (even now!) so I asked for them to send me a new one. Again 12 hours later they respond that they will send me another one from the warehouse that will arrive in 10 DAYS. WTF?! I asked for my refund. I see myself walking to TJ Maxx to buy one.

I love this Essential Oil Diffuser! I have 3 of them and bought the fourth as a gift. I realized I needed another one for my bedroom. I bought it and it works sporadically. I emailed the company and they immediately replaced the Ecooltronic Diffuser, no questions asked. I have 2 dogs and I tend to diffuse any pet odor with Purification and Thieves essential oils. This product runs continuously in my home. Very economical as well. Smart choice and great gift!!

Bought this in October, and liked that I could completely turn off the light because I use it beside my bed. The main power switch has stopped working--three months later. I've been careful not to get water in the vent hole, per warnings in the instructions. The light button now acts as an on/off switch, but there is no light control. So it's still working, but I can't turn off the light. Disappointed that the life of these diffusers seems to be so limited. Also wondering now that the main switch is not working, whether the light switch that now serves as a power switch will be able to continue to function as it needs to--sensing absence of water and turning off.

I purchased this three years ago and I still love it. Came back to buy another just like it and its not available. I love the light, it runs all night while I'm asleep with my essential oils. I have taken it on many trips and it works great!!

I should have believed the other reviewers. Had the SAME issue. Plugged in and worked fine for about 25 minutes. Noticed I wasn't smelling any of the fragrance and went to look at machine. The red mist light was flashing. Reset the machine and turned on again, this time in intermittent mode. Quit after 15 min. Gave it a couple of more tries each in both continuous and intermittent modes as well as changing whether the lights were on in those modes or not. Also tried changing water levels from 1/2 full to almost empty to top line. Unit would produce vapor anywhere from 30 seconds to 25 minutes. But, always would end up with the red flashing mist light. Definitely not the long running performance they advertise. I think they have some major electronic component issue here that keeps shutting the machine down and they need to acknowledge and get it corrected. Save yourselves the headache and find a different unit. Can't print my return label quick enough! :-)
