Gator Cases Current Doubler Adapter Cable for Line 6 HX Effects & HX Stomp Pedals (GTR-PWR-2XCURR-L6)

Works as described for HX Stomp.

I use two of these plugged into my Voodoo labs power supply to power my 2 Friedman IR-Xs which require 800 ma but obviously not 18 volts. My only wish was that one side be right angle and the other straight in like most other power cables for pedals

I wanted to combine current from two jacks to power my HX Stomp LT from my Strymon Zuma. This is the cable for that, nothing else needed. There are lots of other cables that might be a partial solution, but this "Gator Cases Current Doubler Adapter Cable" is the best.

Works perfect on its own. With this cable, I combined 2 outputs from a powerbank of 500 mA max. each. Which means that the total output is 1 A. The only issue is that the cable is too short so, when I put an extension to reach the pedal located at the other end of my pedalboard, it did not work. I guess it's because the extension cannot handle the 1 A load. But keep this in mind if the lenght of this cable falls short for your purposes.

Plug at the HX stomp end is extremely tight but maybe that’s a good thing so it won’t accidentally come out. Much tighter than the OEM adapter from Line6. Using this with a CS12 power supply.

I use 3 of these in a pedal power plus to run a Roland SP304, Roland MC303, and a TC Helicon Voicelive Play. If you are tired of hauling around multiple power supplies for your electronic/synth setup, grab a midrange pedalboard power supply and a couple of these.

The packaging and product description are accurate, this is meant to fit an HX Stomp, but the tolerances are way too tight on the 2.5mm barrel to easily fit in the HX Stomp — mine felt like it was going to break the input jack if I pushed any harder. After finessing the black plastic ring on the tip of the barrel with a file it fits easier and works properly, but I would not recommend this.
