Works well
My small 18 year old dog reacts to all flea/tick meds and collars. I spray this on and we haven't have a flea all season - they love my dog's curly fur. Bottle lasts a long time.

Sprayer broke first day
Liked the idea of a more natural spray instead of chemical based preventatives. However, the first time I tried to use the spray, the entire mechanism broke. They sure need to improve on the construction of that sprayer. I ended up pouring the contents into another bottle. I was surprised at the thickness of the liquid too. More like a cream, than liquid. Waiting to see if this really does repel, as I live in a high tick area.

Not Too Effective This Year in Middle Tennessee
Sadly, this isn’t working for us this year in middle Tennessee. The ticks are AWFUL. I’ve added extra essential oils & apple cider vinegar & the ticks are still swarming my baby. We live in the woods & we just didn’t have enough snow to kill enough ticks this past Winter. I try to keep things all natural, but I’m considering some chemicals. I bought Stephen Harrod Buhner’s books on Lyme disease & coinfections, but I still don’t want my baby, or my partner or myself to go through that ordeal.

Strong smell
Great product. Strong smell so if your dog is sensitive to smells I would not get. It works well for keeping mosquitos away. You could try to lavender one. The smell is less intense.

Great
So I tried a 9 dollar one and was picking ticks off my dog like crazy. This one 4 ticks. I might not have put enough on. But very happy with it.

Not pleasant for pets to lick
I’m not sure if this works yet. But just to let you guys know that i taste tested this by a lick just to make sure it doesn’t have bitter chemicals and if it was actually safe to lick.. and idk what it is but it burns like peppers on my tongue. I believe it has mint in it.So, if you spray it on your pets, please only apply it behind their neck, where they cannot lick it.This doesn’t work. It does not keep fleas away.

Great deterrent for ticks and fleas while camping/hiking.
I purchased the lemongrass to spray on my dog while hiking or camping outdoors. Kin + Kind sells 2 scents, lavender and lemongrass along with lavender flea and tick shampoo. My dog likes the lavender shampoo but recently decided he does not appreciate the lavender spray as much. I ordered the lemongrass spray and he seems fine with the scent.. The lemongrass also seems to works just as well. We also spray our legs and shoes with the flee and tick spray when we are hiking. We like both the lavender and lemongrass and have not picked up any fleas or ticks even in areas with high tick concentration.
