Behringer BC1200 Professional 7-Piece Drum Microphone Set for Studio and Live Applications

I’ve been playing drums for 38 years. Have recorded in a few well known studios and many other high end studios. This drum mic kit by far exceeded my expectations. They sound quite amazing for being so cheap. Especially the tom mics. I use an Apollo Twin X with an old Focusrtite Safire 56 for preamps and I get killer tones out of my Mapex Saturn VI with this mic set. Granite, proper tuned drums and a bit of know how on sound treatment in a room helps, and proper mic placement, but these are quite good right out of the gate. These are great for anyone wanting a very budget friendly option that also want good sounding mics. On a side note, depending on your size of bass drum and the sound you are looking for, you may need to play with the EQ on your bass drum channel a bit and the mic placement. The overhead mics are really small. About 3 inches long but do exceptionally well. Highly recommend.

My drums sound great!

Are these full professional quality? Not necessarily. However as a sound tech that's always relied on the great mic packages in the houses I work in. I decided to purchase these for a small tour I'm doing sound for so I had some consistency every night. The band I'm going out with is very drum heavy and I like to mix very big aggressive drum sounds. I've done a couple trial runs with these in a venue where one mic costs more than this entire pack and I must say I was impressed. I didn't use the "kick" mic on the kick, but on the floor tom and it was huge. I used three of the snare/tom mics on the rack toms and was also very surprised. I haven't tried the condensers as I have my go to's so I can't speak for them. With that said for the price I would highly recommend. I'm giving 5 stars based on quality for price.

Great items

I’ve been playing drums for 30 years and have used pretty much every drum mic kit under the sun. Shure, Earthworks, sE, Sennheiser etc etc and while those are all amazing mics, this little mic kit for the price is an insane value. I’ve been pairing it with a basic Tascam 16x08 and logic pro for iPad and i can’t believe the quality of sounds I’m getting in this price range. Now if you can afford more expensive mics, great, but for the price and value of this little setup, you’ll be surprised and won’t be disappointed.

For the value, I gave this mic set to a sound technician to use for a 4 day festival. He liked them so much, he asked if he could use for the 3 others he worked! Best kit for the money!

バンドの音源撮るのに使ってます。こだわらければ充分な音質ですね。ケースはオマケ程度のすぐ壊れる物です。専用ケースは別の物を用意した方がいいかもしれません。
