Last purchased one in Sept 2022, shipped to CA; went to re-purchase today and Amazon indicated that it could not ship to my location (but could ship to other states).

I have an Aquasana AQ-MF-1. The AO Smith replacement filter has worked as expected for the last 6 months - no leaks, same performance. For what it's worth, AO Smith acquired Aquasana in 2016.

Q: How do you know when the filter needs to be changed?

We put a date on it when we replace it and just auto-replace every six months
