I have an Amway water filter that is no longer in production, so being able to still get the filters is a godsend. They work very well, they last for over a year, and I have had no problems.

It’s ok, but you need to keep the water running for long before the whitish bubbly and taste go away, usually it takes 4 days, I wash the dishes with the filter water to keep it running

Old water filter had been used for 13 months. New filter was needed. The newly filtered water tastes better.

I installed the filter cartridge and flushed it for several minutes as directed by the scanty instructions. A few pieces of carbon came out right at the beginning of the flush, then the water ran clean. That was good. However, several days have passed and each time I draw water it has lots of tiny bubbles, smaller than those in soda water. The best description is 'cloudy'. First use in the morning there is so much air that the water spits all over the sink, and sometimes me, for several seconds before settling down and just looking cloudy. I have used the same Amway E-84 housing with several brands of replacement filters and have never had a problem like this with any other brand cartridge. I would not buy this brand filter again.
