ISBN (Bac/Lac) Piano Notion Method Book One: The most beautiful melodies from around the world

I bought this book so that my daughter could give piano lessons to my son with down syndrome.It's been about a week or two and he's played his first song.

It's really a step-by-step course. Direct, simple, easy to follow. The concepts are very well explained. And there is a lot of songs, easy at the beginning and getting a little harder as we are progressing. There is no secret: even though the music concepts are importants, nothing will get you there as playing. And this method is exactly what I need. I can even start teaching my two sons. Will work on it and for sure will buy the rest of the collection.

This piano book is straight-to-the-point, no-nonsense that gives its readers the means to quickly play melodies and acquire the theoretical knowledgeneeded to get swiftly through the notation, so that anyone with the will to play can achieve it!It is concise in its explanations, action-oriented and manages to provide 54 songs from around the world folklore. A great find!

I cant say if the method is good, much the same as any other I suspect, But old mcDonald had a farm, really most beautiful melody. made the mistake of not looking inside, check the index page before buying, its just a load of nursery rhymes.After a while with this book I can say the method is very good, it turned out to be my favourite method book of the few I tried, progression is set at just the right pace for me

This book gives a great introduction to basic musical concepts. It gets right to the point and explains each concept very clearly without all the extra fluff that clutters the page. Very well-written and designed. I would highly recommend this as an introductory piano book!
