I like this shampoo a lot but I don't use it every day because it is so pricey. I switch off shampoos every few days but this one is good for cleaning excess oil. However, I have found that to really get my hair clean, once a week I add a tablespoon of baking soda to my shampoo to wash my hair with. Incredibly clean!! Baking soda added to shampoo really gets all the impurities, dirt, oil, sweat, etc etc. out of my hair like magic! I don't know how it would work on colored hair but for mine it is incredible. You can't go wrong with baking soda to clean with, whether it is hair, the bathroom, kitchen, etc. So cheap and so effective!

If you have oily hair, this is the product for you! I love this shampoo, it works wonders. I don't feel the need to wash my hair everyday anymore. With thick hair, I do find myself using more of the Product than other shampoos. I have tried others due to the price of this bottle, but I end up spending just as much trying to find something that actually works. The smell isn't as overpowering, at first yes but it's not so bad after. I also enjoy minty scents, so that could be why it doesn't bother me. It does sting your eyes more than regular shampoo would if you accidentally get some in your eyes. Not a crazy amount of pain though. They also have a syrum of this brand as well that you can use aside from washing to help balance the oils in your scalp. I am sensitive to most shampoos, which is why I had to try so many. This one is the only one that doesn't irritate my skin or make it itchy. I do wish it wasn't so expensive, but I guess it's the price you pay for something to really work wonders.

This was my first time trying Biolage. I normally use another big name tea tree shampoo but decided to try this instead. I've used the whole bottle now. It didn't tingle on the scalp and I felt like my hair would feel oily sooner between washes. So if you're looking for a mild moisturizing scalp care shampoo this may be for you. I'm not sure yet if I'll order this again, but it's really a good product.

Excellent shampoo for oily hair. I need to wash my hair everyday because my hair is oily and start to smell bad after half day. Even worst during summer. Ive been using this shampoo for 2 years, very happy with it so far. The cool mint feels great, specially during the hot weather, wish the mint is a bit heavier. Price on the expensive side, but worth it. Highly recommended for someone who has the oily hair. Btw, the scent isn't that strong which i like : )

Every winter, my hair changes from very dry, requiring moisturizing hair products to being extremely oily. This winter has been the worst ever. After researching shampoo brands for oily hair I chose this one. I exclusively used Biolage brand products years ago, but stopped due to personal budget issues. I am so glad I gave this a try.This shampoo smells really nice. It is quite powerful and produces a lot of leather with literally a dime size dollop. It rinses out nicely and leaves no film or residue. It hasn’t completely cured my oily winter hair, but has provided a really nice texture and allowed me an extra day or two between washes.Not only recommend this, but will even consider converting the rest of my hair care products to this brand.

I purchased this product due to great reviews, and found out nothing special about this shampoo. In marketplaces it makes you think that it is a great special shampoo since it's above average price of regular shampoos and has great reviews but in general, it's mainstreem product. I tried better shampoos for this price that eliminated scalp itch at least for 2 days. This one, not only didn't reduce itching, but gave me a huge itching on the scalp within the same day of use. Probably, I'm allergic to some ingredients of it, like to the most mainstream low-cost shampoos.I guess it's not the worst choice, but not for me and not for other people with sensitive scalp.Lower your expectations before purchasing, it's always better to use hair stylists or dermatology recommended shampoos, they might be same price or maximum double of this price, but you will love the effect.

FINALLY! I have searched for almost a year to find a shampoo for OILY HAIR due to menopause. This one actually WORKS! It makes my hair have some static, but who cares! It’s not oily!My hair was always Normal…until perimenopause. At an earlier age than most women (age 40), my hormones began decreasing quickly. Oily hair was one of my last symptoms. The top half of my hair was super oily and the bottom half was very dry and brittle. This shampoo helps my hair return to “normal” for a couple days. Since my hair was highly oily, I still can only go 2 days after washing before the oil returns. But that’s so much BETTER THAN ALL THE OTHER SHAMPOOS I’ve tried.
