Its blend of aromatic oils and potassium iodide work to reduce mucus, which is always a factor with respiratory-tract problems. Its soothing glycerin base coats the irritated surfaces of the throat while helping to reduce inflammation. It also works as an expectorant, allowing for freer breathing and more open air passages, to help make your horse more comfortable and better able to perform.
