We had stairs like this for about 15 years. Was so happy to find them again. Best price was at Amazon.

Sturdy. Easy to assemble. A piece was damaged during shipping. We called Main Access and they immediately shipped the replacement piece. Also, my husband bent a handrail while assembling the stairs and they sent us the replacement piece immediately and for free.

These steps are nice but the directions are absolutely terrible and mine are missing 3 pieces so we can’t even use them. I’ve called the manufacturer… will update if they send me parts. Very frustrating to spend this much money and not get all the parts.Update… manufacturer was super responsive and sent all missing pieces in just 2 days! Updating to 4 stars. Stairs are very durable and would recommend!

Stairs arrived in a timely manner but we ordered in January so we waited to assemble until spring for our pool. It came with everything but a side rail. When I reached out I was told there was nothing they could do because it was outside of the grace period of refund or replacement. Who in the hell assembles pool steps in January. Steps in lasted for 3/4 of pool season due to it being unstable. Complete trash steps and customer service. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone

This is our 3rd set made by Main Access. We have a large above ground pool and now that kids are grown, it's used mostly by our three 70lb dogs - they LOVE jumping in after toys. I attach stair tread carpet to the top step so the dogs won't slip. Our first set lasted 5 yrs. The second only 3 years but that was our fault. We left the stairs in over winter and brutal cold spells cracked the plastic. Also, rubbing on the bottom of the pool from dogs jumping tore 2 big holes in the bottom liner. These stairs (exact same model as our 2ns set) were $50 cheaper online than at the local pool store so I took a chance. They arrived in 2 days (much sooner than expected) and in great shape. It takes about an hour to assemble - although might be longer for 1st time users. You need a drill but it is light drilling and can be done quickly. Recommend a 2nd person for stabilizing the unit when you hammer sections together - too bulky by yourself. I lay 2 50lb sand bags over the tray to hold stairs under water - put inside the plastic bags provided to keep any loose sand from leaking out (push all air out of bag before sealing or they'll stand up on you). Very happy!

These pool steps are great. At first when I put these together I thought they were not sturdy at all but after I put them in the pool and weighed them down with three of Main Access sand bags I purchased separate these pool step really surprised me how sturdy they are. Upon receiving them one part was missing from the box but I called them up and in two days I had the replacement part no questions asked. These do come with plastic bags for a bag of sand but I ordered their optional sand bags which hold 50 lbs each. Make sure after you put them together that you use all the screws supplied for assembly.

Terrible to assemble. Directions had terrible photos. Cheap plastic the broke
