Oh I actually bought a similar Turkish coffee machine while I was visiting Istanbul and living overseas, but when I returned to the US I needed one that's 120v so I bought my first Beko machine in 2017. I use it to make up to two Turkish/ Arabic coffee cups (small). It's been working great. I used it almost daily, except for the last 2 years up to a week ago when my dad visited me in the US. We made Turkish coffee every day for the last week, during his visit. He was impressed with the quality of the coffee and foam on top. At my dad's request, I purchased the 2nd one for him, which arrived today. We tested it; it worked just like the one I've had since 2017. It's consistently awesome. I highly recommend.

Coffee machine, the best!

Great product

In the first week the handle for the pot broke off. The malfunctions started on the second day. It would regularly give an overheating error. But it was still functional for making coffee after several attempts. For 3 weeks it would give tons of errors but with patience and after 15 minutes it was possible to get coffee. Then in week 3 it stopped heating altogether. It was unfortunate that we procrastinated returning it. When we did decide to return it was too late and that option no longer existed. Now it’s a paperweight and we’re very unhappy. Do not purchase. This was a waste of time. Purchasing this was certainly was a mistake. I’m not sure it’s possible to rate this negatively enough. Do not make the same mistake and purchase.

Perfect coffee, no mess

Enjoyed fabulous Turkish coffee in my favorite Turkish restaurant, The New Istanbul in Flanders New Jersey and I worried I would not be able to reproduce it at home. Well no worries with Kurukahveci Mehmet Effendi coffee (sold here on Amazon) and this fabulous Turkish coffee maker, from my first cup, it was absolute perfection. I am a tea drinker and yet really great coffee and expresso catch my attention. This is a clear winner. Thank you Beko from bringing Istanbul into my kitchen. Do not think twice about purchasing this.

This is our 4th Beko coffee maker. Each one lasts about 18 months on average then dies a slow death. However we love the taste of the coffee so much, that we keep buying Beko since no other makers come close in flavor.When you reach the 18 month mark, your maker will start having problems. First, you learn to clean the "eye" after every 5-6 cups, then 3-4 cups then each cup. You unplug it, wait, plug back in, clean again and nothing works.... time for a new one.WHEN it works, it is an wonderful machine. But it will die and you will be forced to get another one. If they would spend an extra couple of bucks to build a solid, long lasting product, it would deserve 5 stars. Until they do, it is only a 4 star machine.
