Great Teaching Tool for New Drivers
Great Learning Tool for a Teen Driver!I purchased this to go along with my son’s steering wheel for his driving video game. He’s turning 15½ soon and preparing to get his driver’s permit. The car he’ll be driving is a 2002 Ford Mustang GT with a manual transmission, and this setup has been a fantastic way for him to get familiar with shifting gears. Surprisingly, it’s actually helped him learn how to drive his real car more confidently. Highly recommend for teens learning to drive a stick shift!

Doesn't come with a clamp
Cool handbrake, easy setup, only downside is that it doesn't come with a clamp

Does the job, mine came slightly defective though
Handbrake feels nice quality and you can for sure beat the heck out of it, installation wasn’t hard at all, it does get noisy even after removing the little clamp, but that’s to be expected with budget sim gear. but when I hooked it up and let it sit for 5 seconds. My game would show the handbrake glitching, and it wouldn’t reach 100% brake. It did go away on its own after unplugging it from my pc many times, though I still have a slight issue with the dead zone being too low so my handbrake engages without me touching it. I have increased the dead zone in game so it’s not much of an issue.it’s just that u can noticeably feel the tiny delay before the handbrake is actually being engaged. Other then that I have no other issues and am somewhat satisfied with my purchase.Would I recommend this? If your on a very tight budget or just want something cheap, yesWould I purchase this again? Probably not

You get what you want but get what you pay for
The media could not be loaded. Alright, so I bought this knowing it was an off brand budget sim handbrake, so I got exactly what I expected. Bonus is that this thing doesn't seem like it will ever break, it's made out of all metal. In the future I'm probably going to build a housing where the USB cable meets the sensor board as any slight tug will most likely break it. That's probably the biggest fail point on this device.Per the video, one star removed because at zero and 100 the sensor isn't calibrated correctly so it'll jump around (and the wire issue). You can easily fix via software or with the screw on the front of the device.Works well in Assetto Corsa, haven't tested it in anything else yet.

Save your money
I bought it after reading the reviews hoping I would get a good one. I didn't.I plugged it in, waited 10 seconds (5 seconds more than recommended)I started up my game and per the other reviews the Handbrake was active in the resting position. I did a few tweaks to the settings but it just couldn't dial in to my liking. The dead zone on the brake is crazy big. And if you pull slowly it sometimes doesn't even engage at all.The build quality is amazing though. My only gripe was the cheap foam on the handle. The Arduino Board is the products only real downfall though.I will be returning the item.

Lasted 2 days past the return window..
I barely used this handbrake, maybe like 5 times, and it wasn't great, but I figured you get what you pay for. Then it stopped working completely. I logged into Amazon to start a return and I'm 2 days late.Don't bother with this junk
