Traditional Japanese incense comes in slender little sticks! Good value for incense noobs!
This is my first-ever box of Shoyeido incense and I'm very pleased. "Moss Garden" is a smoky, slightly sweet smell with a hint of sandalwood/hardwood smoke acridity that balances out the sweetness. It reminds me a little of Bradford pear tree blossoms in the spring, but in a good way, because it's more subtle. Keep in mind, this is traditional Japanese incense and they make it in thin, fragile sticks that were smaller than I expected- 4 inch long sticks. They need to be stuck in a little cup of sand or dirt to hold them up before lighting. They might have trouble staying lit if placed in an incense holder or tray than holds them horizontally. They burn slowly and steadily and the lovely smell changes slightly as the stick burns. Highly recommended! Good value for the incense noob.

Easily Broken, but cleanest smell I’ve ever had for incense!
This smell is very clean. I light a few around my house (3 levels) daily and it maintains a soft scent throughout. I’ve accidentally whacked them against a countertop and they break immediately 😂 but then we just have tiny ones to light! These are worth every penny and so far above other incense I’ve purchased. As a note, these are not made on a stick, so you’ll need to accommodate that.

New favorite brand!
This is now my new favorite incense brand. I’ve purchased different scents and more of the same scents several times. The fragrances are not overwhelming but just right. When I’m off work on weekends I will burn these all day. I find these incense sticks very relaxing. Tranquil. Great for meditation.

Best scent ever
This one came highly recommended. I have to be carefull so many are toxic and I get an instant headach. I give these away as gifts because everyone loves the scent and no one is bothered by it. I am grateful.

Divine Smell
Scent is divine and suttle and different from what you get with most incense with nearly no smokey smell. Sticks are very fragile and I break them a lot, but it is a small price to pay for the best incense I've ever smelled.

If you like Incense
Very nice aroma and bountiful in count. Not long sticks tho ,only about 5/6 inches and thin but powerful scent.

My fav scent for relaxation
Asians have been using aromatherapy for centuries and this is cheaper than the toxic oils you can buy. Consider there are 450 sticks at 30 mins ea...= 225 hours of CONSTANT aromatherapy or nearly 100 days. That's a value compared to Western strategies!
