Excellant investment and value.
I have a ATT BGW320-505 in the house, 1st floor, on a shelf in the laundry closet. The range reached to my detached garage, about 20 yards away from the house barely (poor connection). Followed the directions, uploaded the app to my iPhone, performed the basic setup for both 2.4GHz and 5Ghz near the router. Moved TP-Link to garage, plugged it in, and it worked perfectly with all bars! Expected to wrestle with the product but it worked flawlessly - easiest extender I've worked with and with ATT wanting $10/month for an extender, this will pay for itself after 5 months. I've always had good results with TP-Link and Belkin products. Decided to buy this product after trying to get my older extenders to work with ATT and decided to quit buying network stuff to get the old stuff to work, if they would work!

Works great with fiber optic.
This extender works great! Recently my internet was changed to optic fiber so it would be faster on my old extender would drop out everyday when it got changed sometimes twice a day . So I got this one because it recommended as one of the top 10. It was very easy to hook up and the phone app works great . The light can be very bright at night but has a on off switch . You can also use the app to turn it on and off . It also extends all the way into the garage. I have had not problems.

solved my Wi-Fi problem
It extended my Wi-Fi to reach an unattached garage at my house. I had to put it in my bedroom where the light is disturbing to my sleep. I blocked the light with furniture and a pillow.

Excellent WiFi Extender – Strong Signal and Easy Setup
his WiFi extender worked great for our home! It boosted the signal so well that now we have strong WiFi coverage on all three floors. We haven't noticed any buffering issues and have had it installed for over 6 months. Installation and setup were easy—just plug it into a standard outlet and follow simple instructions.I also appreciate the sleek, compact design. It’s aesthetically pleasing and hardly noticeable plugged in, which is a nice bonus compared to bulky alternatives.Good value for the money. We shopped around, but landed on this one.Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their home WiFi without hassle!

Wifi is now functional everywhere in our home!
We were having issues with our previous wifi extender just not doing the job and kept dropping while streaming Max and Netflix. This one was literally plug in, use app for connecting and done! Great connection, no more wifi issues for us. 1900 sq ft home and the smart tv is on the opposite side of the house as our modem, to give context.

They could charge Double for this one. Its amazing.
I've ordered multiple ones and finally found this one. I could tell before I even hugged it in the quality was awesome. The others wouldn't pick up in my garage or was super slow with a speed test. This one does great. There are times 15 people must be connected with no issues. Never even had to reset it like others over time,7 months strong.

This TP Link WiFi Range extender is great !
This WiFi range extender has done what I thought couldn't be done.It has extended the range of my WiFi signal out to my shop, (about 125 feet away from the router/modem.I have tried several other range extenders with no luck at all and had prepared myself for another let down. But it has surpassed my expectations by giving me 4 bars of usable signal in my wood working shop where beforeI had none. The price was good and it is outperforming other extenders I tried that were twice the price.Well Done, TP Link!

I’m quite impressed
I was in the market for a better range extender, as my old one wasn’t holding up and kept losing its range more regularly, and couldn’t put out a good signal even 15 feet away in a direct line of sight. My Xbox wasn’t liking the old one anymore and is a main reason why I needed to upgrade.I happened to notice a couple of these brand new on a body shops reception desk and immediately searched here for it to read up on later. At the time, they just so happened to be on sale at 40% off and not close to Black Friday. With a range of 2800 square feet, and not hundreds of dollars to get that range; I can even get a pretty decent signal parked in the street, from the other end of a normal middle class house. Well worth the $40 something bucks. Now, I don’t quite have it directly facing my router, more at an angle down the hall next to the kitchen, but even at a 45° angle and probably ~2ft lower than the routers height, I can still get about 250-320 or so during non peak hours of the day, (I have spectrums 1 gig residential plan) sometimes even all weekend. Even approximately 150ft away from the router and out of their recommendations, thanks to 2800 sq ft range, I still average 150mbps or more during normal peak times of the day.Unlike my old range extender, there’s an app to manage, monitor, set up and configure the extender. If there’s any slowness going on, the reboot time is 10x faster than via the old range extenders intranet webpage. I’d still trust ooklas speed test app for tracking and testing the connectivity to make sure it’s as good as it can get; besides, playing a miniature car game while a brief speed test takes place in a separate app is really unnecessary. I can even get notifications if and whenever there’s a new update. I believe that’s automatic anyway. The blue LEDs are quite bright in a completely dark area or room, so I did choose to set up an off and on time. It’s important to me that there are light indicators on, during my normal wake/usage hours. So it automatically turns them on about when the sun rises anyway, and off shortly before getting to sleep. Both manually chosen. Or you can have them off 24/7 by pressing the led button on the re550 itself. It’s been a couple months so far and I’m really impressed with it over all. I truely believe if I had an outlet the same height as my router and I was able to face it directly to my router, I’m sure I could very much get the same neck n neck speeds between the two, wirelessly. So that would make it like having the router on the other end of the house too. Power-line extenders are only as good as the circuit wiring in your walls, otherwise much slower plans would be sufficient.
