BEWARE! Works for 03-05 MK4 (MKIV) GTI or Golf
Tried 3 different MAP sensors before this and none of them worked. If your car is overboosting, hitching, misfiring on idle, and chugging at wide open throttle… this will fix it for the MKIV GTI. Finally finally finally I have boost again!! Ignore Amazon saying that it “won’t fit your vehicle.” There was a facelift after 2003 MKIV and this fits PERFECT. So from 2003-2005 THIS IS YOUR MAP. 1999-2002 MAP sensors WILL NOT WORK.
