Kershaws Traditional Laundry Starch is a 200g concentrated, natural starch designed to deeply saturate fabric fibers for superior crispness and freshness. Suitable for both machine and hand wash, it contains no animal by-products and is ethically produced. This starch outperforms spray alternatives by delivering long-lasting stiffness and a professional finish to your linens and shirts.

## Description

Now it seems that only spray starches are available to keep your napkins, table cloths, bed linen and shirts crisp and fresh. These are inferior to the traditional cold and hot water starches as they sit on top of the fabric, rather than completely saturating the individual fibres with starch. You will find that the results with our starch are many times better than with spray starches. No matter how good the spray starch is, it will never be able to compete with the real thing. Additionally, blended from 100% natural products and naturally occurring minerals, our starch is of a very high quality. It contains no animal products and has not been tested on animals. There are other traditional laundry starches available but our research has shown that they contain less than half the active ingredients that ours contains – that means that the rest is composed of cheap fillers.

I like my 100% cotton percale sheets starched and crisp. I use twice as much as suggested and add it around the outside of my washer tub on a second rinse cycle when agitating that I manually turn on after wash is complete. I have a top load washer so you would probably use a dispenser on front load. I run the second rinse cycle with the lid up as that stops it from spinning. I then let it soak a while and run it again, this time with the lid down. I iron the sheets folded into quarters and they are exactly how I love them. I tried finding a cleaners/laundry service but we have none in the small town that does flat sheets in Nevada where I live. So, tried this product and really like it. Wish the product bag was bigger but that's my only reason for not giving it 5 Stars.
