Most cost-effective product for use in lube and cleaning my Fieldpiece VP85 HVAC vacuum during dyi rebuild and repair. I also use the same product to operate the vacuum with. Great clean stuff. Its equal, if not better than the Fieldpiece recommended oil. Save money and buy this oil.

I bought this for use in a small vacuum pump used primarily for general purposes like vacuuming down liquid silicone rubber to degas it and for automotive A/C applications as well. Future use will be in a vacuum casting system for jewelry and small metal items. Anyways, this type of pump oil meets the requirements listed in the pump manual and was from a well know brand and economical to use as well. If you have a vacuum pump that takes this type of oil you should always have some on hand and since I have used this particular oil I can recommend it. Just check you pump manual to make sure it meets the needs of the pump you are using it in as there are some different viscosity pump oils that are used for various vacuum pumps.

Good pump oil at a good price

Great stuff, for HFT automotive vacuum pumps, and many/most auto parts rental store vacuum pumps. This is the somewhat harder to find 46-viscosity. Some vacuum pumps use 60-68 viscosity instead (which Supecool also sells under a different part number). Autoparts, and HFT do not sell vacuum pump oil, so Amazon to the rescue. You would think people renting or selling these tools would sell the oil needed to run them, but not so. This also works great for Amazon sold vacuum pumps that need 46 viscosity no-mist vacuum pump oil.

works great, can’t tell the difference between stuff costing much more. I’m using it in my Robinair pump and very satisfied.
