Samsung HDMI Adapter (ET-H10FAUWEGUJ)

Only reason I gave this 5 Stars is because I can't give it more than that! I have an older 10 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro SM-T520 and this device works perfectly. My wife uses it for her presentations connecting it to a HDMI projector with no issues at all. The customer service from Interweb_Computer_Solutions is also MORE THAN 5 STARS. Not only did they personally call me to make certain the device will work with my tablet, but they called me a SECOND time when I emailed them a question. Now that's GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, which I'm sorry to say is lacking with a good number of other online retailers. One thing to keep in mind is that in order for it to work best, you need to use the proper USB cord to connect the power. Using an older cord (which I did) will prevent it from connecting properly. I switched the older cord with a newer USB and works fine. Again, absolutely FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!

This product DOES NOT WORK on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 or the Tab A 8" nor most Samsung Phones. It does NOT fit the micro-usb port it is completely different, I compared the the plugs and they are different, however it does work on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 as well as the Samsung Galaxy 5s very well. This is the same part number from Samsung themselves. I saw the mixed reviews of people saying it worked or didn't work or it only worked on Samsung TV's, however I went off Samsung's website. Samsung's website is wrong. I was going to return it to Amazon but since it works with my other 2 devices I'm keeping it.

I have only used this once. It will not work on a laptop because you need a source button. Works on my HDTV just fine. Picture is great but not excellent. Handy item to have when your have other people around who also want to watch something from your tablet.

Item arrived quickly in original sealed packaging. Seems to be good quality. Works fine but will not charge Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 while hooked up in conjunction with HDMI and charger.

The price finally dropped to something affordable. I have been eyeing this for a long time. I am finally able to watch movies from my tablet on the big screen in my living room. It has the ability to charge your tablet at the same time, but keep in mind its not as fast as charging from an outlet. It is worth the money. It sometimes doesnt recognize the connection, so simply disconnect from the port on the tv and the adapter and wait a few seconds before reconnecting.

I purchased one of these and it did not work, I returned it as defective. I was very promptly provided a replacement. When it did not work, I called Samsung support. According to Samsung this only works with MHL-enabled television sets, not with any television or projector with an HDMI input. My Samsung Galaxy 8.0 tablet is MHL enabled, so theoretically this adapter should work with such a set. I want this for doing slide presentations using a projector, and the chances of actually connecting with an MHL-enabled projector is slim to none. This may explain the fact that the reviews for this project are mostly ones and fives. I have not any mention this only working with MHL televisions in any Amazon descriptions, on Samsung's description, on the product packaging or in the product literature.Armed with this information, I found that there are passive adapters which only work with MHL enabled televisions, and active adapters which are supposed to work with any TV or projector with an HDMI input. It appears that the Samsung Adapter is either passive or defective.I have ordered an active adapter for a fraction of the cost and will see if that works. If your mobile device supports MHL, you also need to know whether it has a 5 pin or 11 pin mini USB connector. Adapters are available to convert from one to the other.

Cannot get it to work withmy tab4 or S6 phone. Tried several Samsung charging cords, chargers and HDMI cables. I had one in the past and it worked eell. I gave up trying different cord pairings. Any ideas how to get it to work?

I have the Sumsung Note 10.1 SM-P605 International version. This adapter WORKS100 percent. It's fast and clearer than ones I have had in the past. Not sure why, but this one does work better. Yes, it was a couple dollars more, but I would buy it again. I also have the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge but this will not even plug into the phone. I will be looking for another adapter for the phone. Any suggestions from anyone on a good adapter for the S6 Edge phone?. So, the bottom line is that this adapter for my note pad just works and would recommend it for my version of Samsung's tablet to anyone. This is great for traveling like to Finland. NO need to bring the Laptop anymore. Thank you for this product!
