I have a kitten who I've had since 1 week old, and he LOVES THIS TOY. Best parts: It's a quiet no-annoying toy, it's dog-safe, and it's durable. He attacks and/or chews the butterfly multiple times a day but it still keeps going! The dog has zero interest, which is so rare for cat toys. No worries about him ingesting something he should not. The fact that it turns on anytime you brush against it is perfect and keeps his interest. Thank you for this wonderful toy!

I have 3 cats- one that thinks it's a dog, a chubby lazy one and a very playful chirpy one. The playful one loves this toy! He drags it everywhere just to smack it and get the butterfly stuck against different walls. The older cat who thinks he's a dog doesn't really play with toys but he's fascinated by this and watches it spin for 10+ minutes at a time, occasionally swatting. It's a cute toy, not too loud unless cat deliberately jams it against a box. Which of course you as a cat owner have several of laying in random places in your house and walkways. It seems sturdy, my Raimi keeps testing gravity with it from the couches and once from top of the chest freezer. Doesn't come with the 2 needed AA batteries but thats ok. I love that it comes with extra butterflies as the one it came with is starting to look well loved

I have a cat that was born blind, so toys in my house have to have sound, or they end up lost. Noise-making cat toys can get annoying for people, especially when they you up at 3 AM, so that factors into how well liked a toy is here. This thing is PERFECT. It makes very minimal noise which only engages her more since she has to pay closer attention to hear it to track. It really only gets annoying if it gets backed into a corner, and all the cats love it. They love that they can walk up and make it come to life. Even my older, very cranky and anti-social cat camps out to play with it with others. I love the rounded bottom because it doesn't topple over, and it works very well on carpet, not just tile. My biggest complaint is that it is not rechargeable, and goes through batteries pretty fast, and I'm not sure it is built to last. I've had mine for not quite 2 months, and I am questioning if it is starting to wear down already. It's very affordable, quiet, effortless for me, and the cats absolutely love it though, so it's a solid win for us.

The media could not be loaded. My cat loves this toy. He’s destroyed two of the three attachments over time. I’m really disappointed to see this advertised as having replacement parts, but they aren’t sold. I bought this over 6 months ago and there still aren’t replacement parts available. The toy is also slightly loud. It’s enough I can ignore but it definitely bothers my boyfriend so I think it depends on the person

We bought this toy in December of 2023, so I’m late writing this review. But, I had to write a review of this product because it’s that good! Also, this allows me to write a thorough review since our cat(s) have been able to use it for an extended period of time now. We originally bought this toy for our teen daughter’s one-year old cat. He LOVED this toy, at first. However, he only enjoyed it when it had the feather attachment on it. If we had the butterfly or ribbon strands attachment on, he wanted nothing to do with it. He played with this toy multiple times a day (and night) until the wire to the feather broke. After that he eventually forgot about the toy and it ended up in the basket of “forgotten/unused animal toys”. Cut to this year and we started fostering a 9 week old kitten. The kitten LOVES this toy even more than our older cat did. Since we didn’t have the feather anymore, it has the strands of ribbon attachment on it right now. The kitten goes nuts for the toy and will even drag it around with him at times. The battery life is great and we’ve only had to change them one time. When I came to leave this review, I noticed they sell a replacement pack for the attachments, so I bought that to give the kitten more variety. It’s a genius idea to sell those replacement pieces separately! The thin wire that holds the attachment to the base is sturdy but with continual use they do wear down and eventually bend/break. I will continue buying replacements, as long as our base holds up and the cats are using it!
