LIGHT & EFFECTS Lebo Smart Led Bulb with Wifi Range Extender,Smartphone Controlled Dimmable Light

Horrendous do not buy. I needed a wifi extender. Bought 2 bulbs, the Libo and extension. The instructions are not clear and filled with grammatical errors making it near impossible to comprehend. The devise supposedly refuses to connect to the wifi it's supposed to extend yet it knows enough that the firmware is out of date. Then you get stuck in a loop of trying to connect and getting the phone with app on the Leno wifi va your home wifi that you are trying to extend. How would it know that firmware is out of date if it's not connected somehow?? Yet it still does not work. Full stop broken. Do not buy will be returning as defective and poorly designed crap that lacks understandable instructions. Attached image of where I am stuck. Loops over and over. Strongly suggest you remove all the items from market retool and fix your errors before you go to market.

Overall, it is a great product. The package is beautiful and well designed. The app was easy to download by scanning the QR code from the package, as well as for the user manual. However, I still prefer having a physical user manual. The build quality is solid. It feels quite heavy, lots of electronic components I guess.This LED bulb fits all E26 sockets. I installed it in the lamp besides my bed. The app is easy to use, and it allows me to control both the brightness and color temperature at the same time, changing the feeling of my bedroom. The lights can be quickly toggled on/off from my smartphone’s notification bar. The TIMER function is also handy. I use it to wake me up in the morning, and I like it more than my alarm clock.Most importantly, this bulb can act as a Wi-Fi signal extender. I always had poor connections in the bathroom in my bedroom. Wi-Fi quality has been great since I installed the LEBO bulb.Only had the bulb for a few days. So far I love it. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

I have always wanted to buy light bulbs that allow me to change color and brightness since I switch my activities at home between reading books and drinking wine from time to time. I had to use different lamps with different light bulbs to give me different light color/brightness, which is not ideal for a lazy person like myself. These Lebo and Lettin light bulbs (including their app) from Chengdu Light&Effects got all problems solved! Now I can just press a botton on my iphone and take control of my lights to satisfy my varying needs. The preset scenes and control center from the Lettin app are easy to use and really inspire the me to explore different lighting environments. I love it!In addition, there are corners in my apartment with weak wifi signal which I never found solutions to. Lebo and Lettin light bulbs really do a good job in bridging the gaps. They significantly improved the internet connection quality in the blind spots. I am very happy with the added value brought by those smart light bulbs.Excellent products with great ideas!I look forward to more features and new products that Light&Effects Technology can bring to the market. I believe this company won't disappoint us.

Warning! Danger! App says bulb needs firmware upgrade, but firmware download says "Bug!" with a Chinese character and won't start. Emailed company directly from the app and mails returns as "Fail." Come on guys. If you can't manage your firmware downlaod, at least be reachable. Will give until Monday, but very poor start. Will update as I either return, or hopefully get help!

I'm new to all this, "control things from your phone", stuff. I've never owned a light bulb that I can connect to through my phone and manipulate, so this was a first for me. It was easy enough to set up. I just put it in the lamp and turned on the switch. Then I downloaded the app to my phone. The user interface was a little clumsy for me. I had a bit of difficulty navigating through it, but I think I was able to set the bulb up and get the color and brightness to my liking. This bulb varies from a very blue light to a very yellow light. So depending on your preference, you can adjust that. You can also manipulate the brightness.It has pre-set scene's, which I wasn't really sure of. For instance, they have candle, but the light fades and turns off and then turns on and fades back up. I'm not sure why anyone would want a bulb that shuts off and leaves you in the dark every minute or so? The night sky did the same thing. Where it faded to darkness and then back up to bright. So perhaps I was doing something incorrectly? I'm not sure. But I didn't see the appeal of those scenes. The others were reading and meeting and several others. Basically they are just pre-set to be very blue, very bright, very yellow, not as bright, etc. So you don't have to adjust the light if you like one of those. I found I wanted to adjust the light to a setting I preferred.You have to connect to the wifi of this light, so I had to disconnect from my home wifi and connect to the light bulb to manipulate it. Maybe I didn't understand something when setting it up, but that seems to be how this works.Overall, maybe I'm just a dinosaur, but I'm not sure I'm that into this idea. I'm not ruling it out at this point. Perhaps I just need more time to play with it and it will grow on me. It's a really nice light. It works well. Was easy to set up. I guess this type of thing is all the rage right now, so if you want to be able to turn on your lights or adjust the color with your phone, these worked great. I don't really have anything majorly negative to say about this. The interface needs work, but I'm sure they'll update that as they go along.I received this Lebo Integrated Wifi Repeater Smart LED at a discount so I could try it out and review it. The thoughts expressed above are my true feelings on this product.
