It's a shame that the song 'City of the Angels' isn't included in this otherwise great compilation. If it weren't for this obvious omission, I would have given it a higher rating.

Love journey

I had a hard time deciding between this collection and "The Essential Journey". Doing a track by track comparison, I decided this was the better option. The Essential Journey might be worth considering, if you can get the "Limited Edition 3.0 version", which includes a 3rd disc. With the third disc, the two offerings are quite similar. To save you a little time, here's the differences: Only on GH 1&2: Stay Awhile, Little Girl Only on GH 1&2 AND Essential Journey Limited Edition 3.0: Suzanne, Feeling That Way, Walks Like A Lady, When I Think Of You Only on Essential Journey: Message of Love, Somethin' to Hide, Line of Fire (live), The Eyes of a Woman, Baby I'm a Leavin' You, Be Good to Yourself The Essential Journey Limited Edition 3.0: I Can See It in Your Eyes (from Trial by Fire) and live versions of Don't Stop Believin' (live in Houston 11/6/1981), Stone in Love (live in Houston 11/6/1981), Mother, Father (live in Houston 11/6/1981). Non-live versions of the live versions are on both GH1&2 and The Essential Journey (non-limited edition). So basically, unless you find the The Essential Journey Limited Edition, Greatest Hits 1&2 is almost every song found on The Essential Journey (non Limited Edition). The six songs only disc 2 of Essential were not songs I really wanted, so I stuck with GH1&2. I'm very happy with the memories this collection is bringing back.

私はJOURNEYについて，全然詳しくないのですが，「Faithfully」と「Don't Stop Believin' 」だけは知っており，根性で覚えてカラオケでもよく歌っています。で，結構ウケルし，元気が出る曲が多いので，この２枚を購入し現在勉強中。近々「Open Arms」がレパートリーに加わる見込みです。

There are many great songs in this album. A lot of memories.

Je suis entièrement satisfait de cet ensemble d’album. Cet ensemble contient le Greatest Hits 1 de Journey composé de 16 chansons. Et le Greatest Hits 2 toujours de Journey composé lui de 17 chansons. Soit un total de 33 chansons, il y a pratiquement tous leurs hits qui se sont classées au Top Pop Singles américain. Tous leurs succès sont présents et il y a aussi plusieurs faces B. Je suis très heureux de pouvoir ajouter cet album à ma collection. Le son est excellent et de plus il a été remasterisé. Cet ensemble d’album est sortir en 2011 sous étiquette Sony Music Entertainment. Bonne Écoute !!!
