Using Multivariate Statistics, 7e Paperback – 10 April 2020

This edition has 832 pages, the 6th edition had 1018 pages. The width of the book has been increased, this could be a reason for fewer pages. The font size is smaller as well. The paper is thin and not very white, so the ink and paper constrast is less, which makes it difficult for the eyes [See the attached images].I have seen many very popular texts being produced cheaply for the Indian subcontinent. But I beleive the publishers could produce slightly better quality books for the same price.

I purchased the book on discount, but the copy I received had a torn cover and dog eared pages. The book itself has a good coverage of topics. A large portion of the book is devoted to SAS and SPSS routines. Those who use these commercial packages will appreciate the book, while R and python programmers will find these bothersome. The book's overall layout and printing is quite poor.

This book is not meant for students who do not have understanding of advanced mathematics and statistics. Also, it is written in a confusing and intimidating manner.
