No. This is to clean water tanks for taste and odors. For algae and other contaminants, use Star brite Aqua Water Treatment or Star brite Aqua Water Shock.

Can you let it go through the water heater?

Yes you can. It is safe to flush all water systems, including water heaters.

How do I get this into my tank? My new trailer has a system that requires filling via a hose, there’s not a way to just pour it in…

Pick up a small utility pump they are not expensive. Connect a garden hose to your intake. Connect the other size to the small utility pump. Now if your utility pump has a hose input connect a small garden hose to the pump input side and place it in a small bucket with any solution and some water. Turn it on and draw the solution into your tank. If your utility pump has an open bottom just place it in the bucket and pump with the solution and some water. Disconnect power when the bucket is dry!
