Of course, I am an adult reading a book which is probably more suited to children who will find the stories funny, probably more a boys market but of course I could be completely wrong.I did enjoy the stories, and I do think it would be a super Christmas gift for any child or child at heart. It is a bit pricy but in saying that, it's a beautiful copy of Terry Pratchett's early work.

He whizzed through it and then asked to read another by the same author, so a hit for sure! He is a fan of Walliams, Dahl, the Treehouse books, Tom Fletcher, David Baddiel etc. and this was his first foray into Pratchett. Would recommend for kids with similar tastes in books.

Another brilliant story from the magic man himself. The best fiction writer of all time. Whether you like are into diskworld or his other stories, he never fails to make you laugh.

This book was apparently hilarious. My little one didn’t want it to end. Highly recommend. My little one is 6 and a strong reader and found this on the easy side… but as with all stories I don’t think that’s important at this age, engagement and a love for the story is what matters. I think it would be a lovely book to read with your child. We get caught up in independent reading but let’s be honest, it’s lovely to read with our littles and so I can imagine this would be a great chapter book to read together or independently.
