Worked for me, but it's clear results may vary
I have recently overhauled my stereo setup, and part of that project involved replacing an old Polk DSW660Pro sub with a REL T/9x. It's a great sub, it integrates with my music far more seamlessly than the old sub did. But ever since the switch I have a low-grade hum coming from it whenever it was powered on. Tried a bunch of different things: I tried connecting both the high level Neutrik connection and an RCA cable to the .1LFE input; I tried different subwoofer cables, including expensive ones with chassis ground wires; I tried grounding other components in the chain; I was about ready to give up. However one last test I did was to remove all of the audio connections from the sub and power it on- in doing so, I noticed the hum was still there. So this was definitely a ground loop issue somewhere in the power chain. After reading other reviews here, and seeing that other REL sub owners had solved their issues with one of these, I decided to take a chance, figuring worst case scenario if it didn't work I could just return it. As soon as I plugged this into the back of the sub and connected the power cord into the other end, bingo! No more hum. I saw others complaining that this didn't fit snugly in the input socket on their component, but it was a tight fit in my case. One test you can try before you buy this is to take a cheap 3-prong female to 2-prong male plug adapter - you can buy one of these for less than $5 - and stick it on the end of the power cord for your affected device, then plug that into the socket. If your hum is gone, then this product will almost certainly work for you (and it will be much safer than leaving your device ungrounded with a 2-prong connection.) If you're struggling with hum in your HT/stereo setup, I can at least recommend giving this a try. Ground loop can have all sorts of different causes. so there's no guarantee this will work. But given that this item is available on Prime and a number of different sellers offer free returns, it's worth taking a chance on if you've had no luck with other suggested remedies.

Solved 60Hz hum caused by ground loop between my TV and AV processor via HDMI connection
OK, I must admit, I bought this as a last attempt to solve a bad 60Hz hum on my brand new Home Theatre sound system, which I'd identified as being caused by a ground loop between my TV and my AV processor, via the eARC HDMI interconnect. After a lot of research and YouTube watching, apart from physically "lifting" the ground from the TV, I did tried several solutions, including the HDMI silencer from iFi as well but nothing worked. Then I decided to buy try this product but was very skeptical it would make any difference. But to my surprise, it worked like a charm! I used it to plug the TV's power cable and immediately, the hum was absolutely gone! If this hadn't worked, I would need to run the TV's power cable down to the same TrippLite Isobar where the AV processor was connected so both would share the exact same ground, which would ruin the aesthetics because the cable would be visibly hanging on the wall. So, count me as a happy customer. This product might not work on every scenario, but it definitely worked better than I expected in my case.

It actually worked.
This little device completely solved the coil whine issue with my new 9070xt. I was getting it really bad through my speakers but also through my fiio dac/amp through a USB connection. I tried every single combination of ports and plugs, routing through the monitor, high quality cables... Nothing worked at all until I tried this. It's expensive, but at least I can game without screeching sound driving me crazy.

They worked for my situation
First, let me preface this review by saying that these are way over priced. $100? Come on. And yes, you will need 2 of these if you are using monitors to mix music, so that's $200 you'll need to spend. Nuts. But, they did help resolve the ground loop issues I was having in my near field studio monitors. I have a pair of CLA-10s that I use in my home studio, and like most home studios, the power is not set up to deal with ground loops for studio use. And these speaker buzz like flies. Interesting enough, I didn't have any issues when I was using KRKs, but it is what it is. The iFI did resolve the issue, but I have concerns over what they may be doing to the sound. I've heard that any of these devices will have an impact on your high frequencies, and maybe even other stuff. That being said, for a studio, I'm not sure you'd want to use anything like these. For home theater or casual use, I don't see any issues. But without the means to have an electrician come out and rewire your home, you're kind of stuck with what you have. So for now, these are stopping that dreadful buzz and that's great. Long term, if I decide to do more serious producing, I would look in to having professionals fix the problem at the power source. I haven't noticed a major difference in the sound, but these things can be insidious and won't show up until you put it in a professional system and realize that something's just not right in your mixes. Good luck!

Amazing results in my Hifi setup!!!
I just bought a new tube amplifier and it hummed right out of the box. It was audible three feet away from the speakers, but not at my listening position. Being an IT tech guy, this bothered me even though I could just ignore it. I had two components in my hifi that used three prong AC cords, the new amp and my DAC. They were both plugged into the same Panamax line conditioner and I THOUGHT that would share a common ground and not be the issue. Initially, it made sense and I thought the tube amp was to blame, however after removing the interconnects from the DAC, the hum went away. Long story short, if I plugged my DAC into a different outlet (same circuit), the hum went away 95%. I bought this product and then connected the DAC back into the Panamax and the hum is completely gone. This was worth every penny since it restored my sanity. Hopefully, this save other hifi enthusiasts hours of frustration and troubleshooting. You only need one audio component connected to a ground and the others can be "lifted" safely using this product. You should not use cheater plugs.

Snake Oil?
I have tried everything to eliminate ground loop RFI/EMI in my Dynaudio speakers. Nothing seems to work. I have tried multiple devices like the Hum Eliminator by Pyle, TRS/XLR cables and more. I read the reviews on this item and went for the buy. Unfortunately it did not work for me. I have taken my speakers to other spots and the hum/ static buzz is not present. Now where I have my sound system hooked up is where all the hum/buzz happens. So weird and frustrating! I Wish this item would have worked for me honestly. However this is the rating I’m giving it. May work for you. But did not work for me.

It did nothing for my system.
It did nothing for my system. I have 2 audiophile friends that say it worked in their systems, and that's why I'm giving it 3 stars.

WOW! THIS THING WORKS GREAT - Kills all the noise in the PC video editing system.
WOW! THIS THING WORKS!!! I have a professional video editing system that's had in the monitors for years. It was picking up noise from the PC when it rendered or whenever there was power draw. I had been struggling with it for YEARS and YEARS. I saw a YouTube video and decided to gamble on the $100 cost. IT WAS SO WORTH THE MONEY! I plugged my PC power cable into the this and then this piece into the PC. It worked instantly! I'm amazed. THIS THING IS AWESOME.

Excellent !
