I have used this long handled weeder for an entire season (2013 Spring, Summer, and Fall) This weeder is easily sharpened. This will ensure a long and productive service life The long handle allows me to create more force and leverage as I visit death upon the intruding dandelions and other unwanted and troublesome weeds. Also, the Long Handled Dandelion Weeder allows me to extract them from my lawn without stooping. Thus, I prefer it to short handled weeding tools. Furthermore, it allows me to easily turn the dandelions upside down as they are severed from their roots.
