🚗 Build, paint, and conquer the past!
The Masterbox 1:35 Scale German Military Car/type 170v/tourenwagen is a high-quality plastic model kit designed for enthusiasts. This unbuilt and unpainted kit requires assembly and painting (glue and paint not included) and includes parts to construct one detailed model along with crew figures, making it a perfect addition to any military model collection.

Do not get this kit
I have made a number of kits and although not an expert I would also not consider myself a beginner and without some skills. This is the first kit i consider to be ridiculously over complicated just for the sake of it, it is full of tiny unnecessary parts that are made of very weak plastic. I had a large number of parts break on me , they also fit together very badly. i really wanted to like this kit but it was not fun to make, it's badly designed and made of inferior materials. After 4 days of continuously having poorly overly fiddly bits break I scrapped the kit altogether. I will keep the bits in case I can use them on a diarama in the future. It's a great shame as I have made masterbox kits before and enjoyed them, especially the figures, but I really would not recommend this kit. Shame zero stars not possible.I strongly advise not buying this kit.

Too many parts
Although made up it is a very nice car there are many very small parts ( 1mm & 2 mm) which could well have been incorporated into the larger pieces. It doesn't help that the plastic is over brittle. I have made models for over 60 years and this sadly is one of the worst. Over complicated just for the sake of it.

Poor quality
Figures moulded with great detail but vehicle was the worst I have ever built. Poor casting small detail parts broken on the spru pieces don’t fit together properly because of low quality plastic

Think twice about buying
I admire the ambition of this kit in terms of detail with many (too many really) microscopic parts. I’m better than average at assembling and painting / detailing model kits (I still have much to learn mind you) but my point is, this review isn’t based on lack of skillThat said, there are significant issues with this Miniart kit:1) The plastic used is too brittle and a VERY high percentage of the parts break just trying to clip them off the sprues. I had to repair more than 20% of the parts and I’m using new cutters so, the tools are not to blame.2) While the instruction sheet clearly labels the parts, none of the sprues are labelled so the is no way of knowing what part A31 might be so it all becomes a huge egg hunt. Miniart failed to even label the sprues as “A”, “B” etc and none of the individual parts are labelled. This is made worse by the detail and scale of this kit...a lot of the parts look similar because they’re small. Note I used a magnifying headset and that wasn’t enough to identify parts with any real confidence.3) The parts simply don’t fit or have such small attachment points that the whole thing becomes an exercise in frustration. Nothing aligns as it should and because the manufacturer chose to basically copy the parts bin for the real car, there’s too much going on which compromises the engineering and structure of the whole thing. This was such a bad experience that for the first time in my experience, I had to give up and trash the kit entirely so, lesson learned and 3 days effort and $ gone to waste.I do not recommend this kit for anyone with average or moderately above average modelling skills. Perhaps a professional modeller can get a satisfactory result but, I recommend everyone else stay away.
