This was about a $400 fix but doing it myself I saved about $320. Very satisfied of the part and dissatisfied and gm car manufacturer. This should be a another recall situation.

Be aware the bolts are tight, and they’re a large sized Torx Bit, or at least they were on the 2017 Chevy Trax

I replaced the latch on my Buick Encore in August of 2022 with this latch. It was the correct latch and fit perfect. The latch has already failed. 11/23 and the latch is done. Now looking for a replacement. It is not a small job to replace this latch and it should last longer than a year and a few months.
