Q: Can a lock be added to top zippers?

The one I received is a single zipper. There is, however, a metal d-ring sewn onto the bag that could be used to slip a lock through to the zipper pull.

Q: What is the recommended maximum weight to carry in this bag?

Not really sure. Just carry batteries controllers and other misc stuff for my RC vehicles. Seems really well built and is holding up well for what I use it for.
