A fabulous, if complex device.
This little machine is fantastic. It does a heck of a LOT of measurements, although typically most purchasers will in all probability only use the SWR function.Pros, This doodabber does a heck of a lot. It is very comprehensive for such a dinky little package. As stated, most will be using the SWR meter function. Which it does admirably. But it also shows Smith charts, and shows a lot more that I don't yet understand fully and yet more I don't understand at all. I'm sure in time all will become clear as mud... So the colloquialism goes.Cons... Do NOT expect a manual! It comes with a list of menu functions. And if your an amateur Amateur radio enthusiast, you will likely NOT understand a single dang thing. I most certainly did not. It has a qr code to a extensive online manual which for the vast majority of the time, is well translated, but can be a little hard to follow (especially for the beginner, YouTube WILL be your friend in this). It NEEDS to be calibrated for every use. Which is a little time consuming. But worthwhile for it's utility. and you absolutely WILL NEED adapters for ANY kind of antenna plug (PL259, N type, BNC, and any other.) It is set up for SMA Type plugs. it comes with what you see which is two extensions cables, both are female to female SMA, A male/male connector and three calibration caps (OPEN, SHORT and LOAD, DO NOT LOSE THESE! they are required for calibration!) A few usb cables (C type for charging and a C to C cable). And finally a wee lil stylus and a 'guitar pick' style doodabber. These are obviously for screen interaction.Build quality: it's a sensitive lil gadget. lightweight, and a little 'plasticky'. But it's well enough made to do what it's intended to do and be robust enough. Although a degree of care should be taken when transporting it. I keep mine in it's box which has sufficed adequately thus far until I get a better option, perhaps a small pelican case.Overall: This gadget does what you will need it to do (meshtastic users, I'm looking at you!) And significantly more besides. I can certainly promise at least 75% of end user's will not utlilise its entire arsenal of tricks. It's compact and very portable. And frankly I'm a little smitten with it. One cannot help but adore a well created and executed piece of kit. especially one as delightfully complicated as this one.10/10 will measure SWR again.

Fantastic device - what every amateur radio operator needs.
Works great for measuring SWR and other things. Don't bother with trying to understand the menu on its own touch screen. Just download 'NanoVNASaver' for Windows and use via a USB connection to the PC. This app is almost self-explanatory in its operation. At the time of writing, github doesn't have the Windows files, but I found a copy from another source on the web.

Very good and easy to use bit of equipment a must have.
Can do so much. But not as much as my HP 3585B.

Good for checking antenna
Works great I use it mainly for checking SWR. Plenty of Youtube videos online to show you how it works.

Excellent for evaluating antenna
As an amateur radio hobbyist, I was amazed at how good this is for the money. Used it to check SWR and Smithfield on all my antennas, even identified a Chinese knock-off antenna that was useless. Also using it to test filters now. Works brilliantly
