perfect size for small kitchens
This mini food processor is exactly what I was looking for! It’s compact, easy to use, and does the job without taking up a lot of valuable counter space. I have limited room in my kitchen, so the small footprint is a huge plus for me. I’ve been using it to make salsa, and it works great for chopping everything evenly and quickly. The 3-cup capacity is a really convenient size for smaller batches, and cleanup is easy too. I also love having a Cuisinart appliance because the brand has always been one I trust. If you’re looking for a small food processor that doesn’t take up much space but still gets the job done, this one is a great addition to the kitchen!

Powerful, Compact, and Easy to Clean
This little food processor has been a huge time-saver in my kitchen. Don’t let the size fool you—it has plenty of power to quickly chop onions, garlic, herbs, nuts, and make sauces or dips in just seconds. The 3-cup size is perfect for everyday cooking without taking up much counter or cabinet space. It’s very easy to assemble, use, and clean. The bowl and blade wash up quickly, and I appreciate that it doesn’t have a lot of complicated parts. The motor is powerful, and it produces consistent results every time. If you don’t need a large food processor, this is the perfect size for small families or everyday meal prep. It’s well made, reliable, and definitely worth the investment. I use mine all the time and would buy it again.

Awesome
Perfect size. Does not take a lot of room. This is my second one, the first lasted for 8 years with heavy use. Unfortunately, I dropped the lid and stepped on it. Great quality, very strong and durable. If I didn't break the lid, this would of last for many more years to come. The blade remained very sharp and the unit/motor still ran perfectly. By heavy use means I had used it pretty much everyday. It can hold a lot of foods, herbs etc. It does not strain or reduce RPMs with heavier products such as butter that is still firm.. I love that it has a forward and reverse spin. You dont have to consistently take the lid off to push whatever you are blending (such as Butter). Heaver material tends to roll up into a ball and is pushed it upwards, away from the blades. Simply use the reverse spin (chop) and it will pull the material doward and continue to mix/chop/blend. If I dont step on the lid again, I am sure this one will last for many years to come. Love it, Cuisinart has not made any changes to the processor through the years. As we know in todays market, many manufactures use cheaper materials so items wear down quickly. Thus, you have to replace more frequently. This is the exception, strong and built to last. Very reasonably priced for a product of this high quality.

Perfect Size for Small Prep Jobs
I picked this up on sale for around $20 and it's been really handy for smaller prep jobs. It's a good size when I just need to chop or grind a small amount and don't feel like pulling out the full-size food processor. Cleanup is much quicker and easier too, which is probably my favorite part. It also doesn't take up much space, so it's easy to keep around without adding more clutter to the kitchen. Cuisinart is a brand I'm familiar with, and so far it's worked well for what I need. For $20, I think it was a good buy. I'm not sure I'd pay a whole lot more than that, but at the sale price I'm happy with it.

Works good for it’s tiny size
It’s tiny but works good. I used it to grind Oreo cookies for dessert cups. Worth the money and easy to store cause it tiny. It’s also easy to clean by putting parts in the dishwasher.

A Medical Necessit for ThosNeed a Soft Diet
This morning, I was perusing the items I've purchased in the past month in an attempt to see what I could review that might help other customers. Wooden spoons: Check. Heart-shaped straws: Check. Cuisinart DLC-2ABC Mini Prep Plus Food Processor: OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH! That item brought me up short; just seeing it listed nearly caused me to break down in tears, for the Lord has used it to literally revolutionize my life. I love to cook. I love to experiment, combine foods, use bay leaves where they've never been used before, and generally turn the sense of taste into an adventure. However, things have lately been complicated by the fact that I have developed autonomic dysfunction, which has kept me on bed rest, and gastroparesis, which has altered what I can eat and especially the consistency at which I can eat it. Hummus, mashed potatoes, and soft, bite-sized pastas are fine, as are sauces. Bread, coarse vegetables, and any meal that incorporates too many elements are problematic. I could eat hummus, and I could eat rice, and I could even enjoy fetta, but a Mediterranean meal that incorporated all of these simultaneously would be too much for my insides at the moment. I love vegetables, but here again, they have made the consistency of my meals much too busy for one fragile gut and appetite. But I love adding twenty flavours to one casserole!--now what? For the longest time, we had a blender, but it was just that--a tall container for mixing and pouring smoothies and shakes. If you really only want to grind or chop half a cup of food, it's more trouble than it's worth to scrape your puree out of such a tall container. However, most of the food processors we looked at were either too costly or too technologically advanced for our old-school family, or both. UNTIL... My sister found this food processor. I would say it was wonderful for the price, but in reality, I'd be willing to spend up to $150 on something that has made my life this much easier. Its capacity is perfect--we never need to process more than three cups at a time--and this processor works better than any other electric kitchen appliance we've ever owned. Another reviewer noted rightly that it works quickly, so if you don't want a fine puree, you do want to watch it--that button means it when it says "GRIND!" However, the one other button, the control for chopping, is very affective in doing just that--coarse vegetables can be ours, if we so desire. Never again will I have to laboriously mince or chop onions by hand when I'm well--I'll let this processor do my teary, dirty work! So, not everything comes out purred unless you want it to. I recently asked a family member to process some dry ingredients to make a breadcrumb-type crust, with instructions that "it shouldn't be like powder--more like the consistency of dried oats." My loved-one and the food processor did a FINE job--pun intended! My family really appreciates how easy it is to scoop or pour the processed food, how easy the cup is to wash, and the basic design. We aren't a family who really enjoys touchscreens, digital readouts, and other technological advances that turn our appliances into computers--we didn't need any extras beyond grinding and chopping and, happily, this processor doesn't feature anything beyond that. As for me, I can't say enough about how much more beautiful eating has become once again. For close to a month, I put food into my body because I didn't want to take more drastic measures, but that was all it was--ingesting nutrients, no more. Now that I can grind veggies, herbs, certain meats, nuts, and virtually anything else into an appropriate consistency, food is the lively, joyful, enheartening experience it has always been. Nowadays, I typically keep a soft starch base, puree the rest, and-voila!--TASTY, non-bland, nutritious food. Broccoli, olives, mushrooms, whole garlic, and other edibles may not be at their premium this way, but at least I can eat them, whereas I was formerly stuck with plain hummus and mild pastas. What a difference! If you or a loved-one have a medical condition that makes a softer but not necessarily bland diet necessary, and if you're looking for a basic, easy product, this one may make you, too, cry when you pass it as you go about your day--right there, on the counter, waiting for you, just waiting to grind more delicion for someone in nutritional need...

Perfect small food processor. Does a great job!
Old lady review ... as I've aged, I find chopping has become a chore. This little food processor is a definite game changer for me. Made a recipe with onion and bacon and it chopped both finely in seconds. Clean up is rinse and stick in the dishwasher. This is a keeper!

Greatest Item for FAST chopping
This is the greatest little machine! Actually, it replaces my prior Cuisinart Mini Prep processor ... the blade on that one cracked and I was concerned ... otherwise it ran perfectly. Don't hesitate to buy this. It's handy, small to fit in a cubard and it takes but seconds to chop-up veggies.

Comes with a US plug!??
NOT FOR THE EU COMES WITH A US PLUG!!! I can smell the engine when I run it even when using an adaptor. I think the wattage is too high for the EU. Also can’t put the barrel in the dishwasher or food gets stuck in side the handle and it has a special type of screw to unscrew it so I can’t get it clean. Don’t buy.
