- Heating Pad for Neck Shoulders Back, 2.6 Ib Weighted Heating Pad

I’m very happy with this heating pad. It heats up quickly and provides soothing, consistent warmth to my neck and shoulders. The material is soft, comfortable, and fits well without feeling bulky. The different heat settings make it easy to choose the perfect temperature, and it stays in place while I’m relaxing or working. It has helped relieve muscle tension and soreness after long days. I bought this for pretty bad neck and shoulder pain from sitting at a desk staring at four monitors all day. I already had one of those large heating pads with the stiff plastic interior, but it just wasn’t flexible enough to hit that sweet spot between my neck and shoulders or wrap comfortably behind my neck. I removed the chest extension for a snugger fit. It does take a little adjusting to get it positioned just right while sitting upright in a desk chair, but once it’s there, the weighted beads do a great job keeping it in place. The cord is also plenty long, so I can still roll around my desk without constantly unplugging myself. I saw several reviews complaining that it doesn’t get hot enough. Personally, I can’t imagine using it on anything below High, but I’m also guilty of using my old heating pad at temperatures that probably qualify as surface-of-the-sun. 😂 If you’re accustomed to a heating pad leaving red marks on your skin, this definitely won’t feel as intense. One thing I noticed is that it seems to take about 15–20 minutes to reach its full temperature. I suspect the weighted beads need time to warm through, because it gets noticeably warmer after it’s been on for a while. Overall, I’m really happy with this find. It conforms to the exact area I needed much better than a traditional heating pad, and the weighted design makes a big difference.

It worked well when I first got it. I was so thankful! But now after having it for 9 months and only using it about 5-6x a month, it has quit working all together. Doesn't warm up at all anymore. Super sad. They just don't make them like they used to! Edited to 4 stars because of their great customer service. Even though I was well outside of my return window, they refunded me and DID not ask for me to edit my review. That was huge for me. So kudos to good customer service! Maybe I just got a faulty pad, it happens.

I've had two cervical fusions since 2021, so I've tried a myriad of heating pads, pillows, bean bags, etc. By far this has been the best. The weight is substantial enough that it stays in place easily while working or watching tv. The shell material is very soft and comfortable. After two years, I had an issue with it turning on, but the company handled an exchange in just days!

I had open heart surgery recently and my sore upper back and shoulders were causing me more pain than the 8 inch chest incision and healing sternum bone. My anxiety levels were through the roof in the hospital post op nursing facility because my heart went into atrial fibrillation with my heart rate at 140bpm for 13 hours straight. It was like a 12 hour panic attack and my back and shoulders tensed up so bad they hurt to touch. I knew I couldn’t wait for relief once I got home so immediately bought this when I searched on Amazon for a heating pad. I liked the idea of it being wearable and weighted to stay put. Ordered yesterday and arrived today. Best $35 I’ve ever spent in my life. I wasn’t expecting it to help so much. It is a miracle worker, trust me. If you have tense shoulders, neck or upper back muscles do not hesitate. This thing kicks ass and takes names. I hope it lasts a long time but even if it only works for 6 months I would be happy with the purchase for the price. Excellent product. I love it.

WHOA! Game changer! I get cold all the time. My neck gets achy. I am full of just aches and pains and stiff joints... blah blah blah - just getting old. I put this thing around my neck and it warms up nice and slow to the perfect temperature. My neck starts to relax, my jaw relaxes, and I can fall asleep. I take it off if I get too hot. In the middle of the night, I turn it back on and lay it over my hips - warms me up without getting out of bed. I absolutely LOVE this thing. It's perfect for relieving those stiff joints from the day and really helps me sleep and stay sleeping.

Ever had one of those days when you wake up in the morning and your head already aches and your neck and shoulders have joined forces in making sure that for the rest of the day, you're going to be doing your best 'Quasimodo' impersonation - neck and back hunched over, head locked to one side, rendering you pretty much useless for the day's tasks ahead 🫤 As soon as you put your feet on the floor, your worst fears are realized and you already know people are most likely going to shout "the bells" and " Hey, Quasi, where's Esmerelda?" as you shuffle past - walking into street lights, fire hydrants, doors and people as you can't see straight ahead coz your neck is twisted and your body contorted 😫 The only positive at this point is you don't have to spend too much time wondering what you're going to wear - may as well keep it simple and dress for the part, right? - green tunic, brown tights, teal shoes and a rope belt it is! At the end of the day, you don't have the strength in your body to turn on the faucet and soak the aches away. By this time, the pain has intensified, and the nerves and muscles at the base of your neck have jumped on the ol' pain wagon and you resign yourself to the realization that the ol' pain wagon is, in fact, heading for the river and for the rest of the night you're gonna be sailing up a certain creek without a paddle! Ha! Enter the Comfytemp Heating Pad for neck and shoulder. Man! This is amazing! And, without sounding like some corny chat up line, the first time I used it, I actually said out loud "where have you been all my life?" (Admittedly at this point, my sanity could be questionable as I'm openly admitting to talking to an electronic heat pad! 🥴) Talk about a game changer! The pad is weighted and really works. It's a soft, smooth material which really adds to the quality. There are several heat settings from 1 to 9 - I found 6 is comfortable for me. There's a timer you can control, but I leave it on long enough until I feel the pain and tension ease. There's also an extended power chord which means I can plug it into the wall socket when I'm in bed or sitting on the sofa and I don't have to lean to one side when it's in operation. I have to be honest and say it's great value for money - money well spent for the relief it gives. It's incredibly easy to use, and is adjustable in sizing - there's an extension on the cape included, but I find the closest fitting works best around my neck without feeling I'm choking. There's also a part on the cape that actually covers the base of your neck - great addition! It's both soothing and relaxing. Honestly, it's like getting a big, warm hug from a big, fuzzy cuddle monster! ( yeah, ok, I'm over-emphasizing, but you get my drift) I can't recommend it highly enough! Anyone wanna buy a gently used green tunic with brown tights, teal shoes and a rope belt?? 😉

I'll start by sharing that I actually LOVE this heating pad. I have really bad neck and shoulder pain tied to migraine headaches. I find this also extremely helpful after the initial soreness associated with trigger point injections. This heating pad sits well on my shoulders and targets all the areas I need relief in. It sits way better than a typical square heating pad. BUT my reason for the lower 3-star review is that it now completely stops heating after 30-45 minutes. I don't see any error messages, and the timer is set for hours, but after about 30 minutes of heat, it just stops. The plug shows the power is on, but the heating pad itself goes cold. I've had this heating pad for almost 2 and a half years, which doesn't feel like that long for it to stop heating. I've had another just square basic heating pad that I probably picked up at a drug store over 10 years ago, and that thing still gets super hot and works great, so I've actually reverted back to using that one since this one doesn't really work anymore. I thought about repurchasing this one bc I liked it so much, but I'm afraid it'll stop working again. I might look into the same neck/shoulder style but a different brand.
