Super powerful for those suffering from OCD
I purchased this for myself over a year ago, and then more recently for a friend struggling with OCD. This book is absolutely incredible. So powerful for those with OCD. I find OCD sufferers are extremely hard on themselves and self-compassion is such a valuable skill to develop. To be more kind to ourselves. And this workbook does a phenomenal job at providing many ways to approach improve self-compassion. The goal is to do the skills, and find what works most effectively for you.

Amazing support to ERP
This book is incredible in highlighting the self-compassion practices that will entirely assist your success with ERP and managing OCD. As a patient with OCD and severe depression, learning self compassion from Kimberley through this book and her podcast has absolutely given me hope as I recover and the tools to love the parts of myself that OCD convinces me are vile, dirty, and shameful. A must have for anyone walking through a journey with OCD.

Must-have!
SO grateful to find Kimberley and this amazing workbook! Suffering from OCD fills you with so much negative self talk and its intention is to make us feel depleted and not capable. Kimberley is spot on with needing self-compassion. This workbook is extremely helpful and I can’t get through it fast enough. Thank you Kimberley for such a wonderful tool. I truly feel as if I have you right by my side cheering me on as I fight OCD. Everyday is a beautiful day to do hard things!

Very Useful
I'm still in the beginning part of the book but wanted to write some praises!! I'm taking this book slow and being intentional in my OCD recovery. This book has the perfect balance between reading and writing exercises. I am thoroughly enjoying it and have made it part of my night time routine. I highly recommend!

A Must have book!
I just got this book and cannot stop reading it! So well written! Full of love and self compassion knowledges that can be beneficial to anyone! I am a big fan of Kimberley and will definitely recommend this book to anyone around me. This is a must have book to help you overcome your OCD. Thank you!

A Useful Tool for those with OCD
This workbook is labeled as a Self-Compassion workbook for those with OCD and is filled with activities, explanations, and anecdotes to be utilized in getting a grasp on and eventually healing from and overcoming OCD behaviors.I found this workbook very helpful in some areas such as learning what my OCD behaviors are, what triggers them, and how I feel in various moments. I also appreciated connecting with what the author calls my "compassionate self" and changing the way I view myself in light of my OCD behaviors. Many of the compassion techniques I have now incorporated into my life and I am extremely thankful and hopeful after completing this workbook.One aspect of the workbook that was not ideal was that much of it was geared towards intrusive thoughts which doesn't much apply to me. All of the example patients dealt with some kind of intrusive thought that upended their lives which is very different from the way I experience OCD. I wish there had been sections that outlined which OCD behaviors were applicable so that I was not confused or wasting my time. I would love to see a follow-up book that focuses more on urges and physical compulsions and not so much on thoughts.Overall, I enjoyed this process and I am thankful for the insights from the author and the time she spent in creating a resource for people like me to overcome their OCD through self-compassion.

MUST HAVE
This book is a must have in my OCD recovery journey!!!!! I am a huge fan of the Anxiety Toolkit Podcast that Kimberly Quinlan hosts so I knew that this book would exceed all of my expectations!! Self-Compassion can be the hardest to give oneself especially while struggling with OCD, Kimberly gives great exercises, tips, and practices to incorporate in your daily life. Although this book is specific to OCD, I find that people without OCD could very well benefit from this workbook.

Absolutely worth the purchase!
This workbook is simply incredible! Having self-compassion while dealing with OCD is so important and Kimberley does a wonderful job in this book of outlining how to make that happen. The book is formatted in a way that is super easy to follow and it allows for so many opportunities to practice the skills. I am so beyond grateful that this book exists!

Supportive and caring workbook.
The Self-Compassion Workbook for OCD really helped me in my recovery work from ocd.I want to stress out my 3 main take-aways:* I learned very well what self-compassion is and how I can integrate Self Compassion into my ERP-work - I am much more motivated to do ERP-work now* The chapter about emotions and how to manage them really was the chapter I spent most of the time while working with this book* I learned I new form of Exposure (Flooding) and I like that I can easily integrate that kind of exposure into my daily lifeIt is as workbook, so I took sometimes a break from it.Furthermore the digital content of Kimberley is helpful to stay motivated with the book.I can strongly recommend this book, when you suffer from ocd.
