Works well enough most of the time. Some issues with sound transfer at times.

Excellent to attach a second monitor, mouse and charger. Wouldn’t be without it.

this literally doesn't work, ive got a brand new iPad Pro and it clearly states that this item would work , however pure lies and disappointed in wasting money on false advertising. damaged the box on opening so cant return dissapointing

Purchased for my ipad but it has android connection so not as advertised. Luckily it works on my Samsung s10 so not a total loss

Adaptor didn't fit properly, very loose so didn't charge my ipad and headphone socket didn't work! PLUS A week after having returned it still waiting for confirmation that they've received it! PLUS As I'm unable to print return label , was only given1 option for returning item and that was a local Post office sorting office with limited opening hours. This company is rubbish for customer service

For now works as intended, however as stated by other people here it seems like they are selling them second hand rather than new. No protective film and bottom side full of scratches, clearly indicating previous usage. 2 stars as unknown how used the device actually is.

For £34.99 I would have expected the product to look brand new, clean, no scratches.. this one on the other hand.. looks 2nd hand to me and not a brand new product as advertised.. rather disappointed in the quality upon arrival in a sealed box, within the Amazon package.

I used this to enable an 11” iPad Pro to output HDMI to a television on a monitor stand, input sound via the USB-A port to apps on the iPad, and pass through charging power from the iPad charger, but via a longer USB-C cord. Many apps will support selecting a USB class compliant sound source, so you can hook those up via the USB-A on this adapter. The iPad screen will mirror onto the HDMI, but some apps have cleanfeed or other monitor options. My usual set up is: iPad with this adapter connected to TV via HDMI, power via USB-C power pass through, and sound input to USB-A from USB2 on a RODEcaster Pro 2, via a 3m(?) USB-C to USB-A cord from Anker. The TV is muted but otherwise the HDMI has whatever the sound output the iPad would normally be doing, which is up to you and your apps. Currently using Blackmagic Design Camera app to match sound from podcast set-up with video from the camera app. BTW the app is not optimized for iPad yet so works but interface is glitchy on iPad. DRAWBACK: I gave this adapter 5 stars, as it works exactly as I hoped from its specs, seems quality built as far as physical structure, clarity of markings, firmness of sockets, etc. BUT you should be aware that when you have all three cables connected there can be some strain on the USB-C connection to the iPad. Depending on the orientation of the iPad and cables relative to gravity, the USB-C plug that goes in the iPad can lever loose or pull out. I have the iPad horizontal and while this adaptor never pulled out, it did get loose enough to disconnect once, when adjusting the iPad on a stand. You can find various ways to secure the adaptor if you find the need but the design itself could be improved only by flanges gripping the iPad (which would compromise ‘the need to lay flat’). I feel like most cases where people will want HDMI out from their iPad, they don’t need it to lay flat but as long as you are not careless, it’s fine and not delicate, even though it isn’t secure/locking.

iPadに直接挿せるのですがゆるいです。安定感がありません。 また3.5mmとHDMIがあり、音声出力先が特定の条件で決まるようなのですが、色々なところを抜き差しして使いたいので意図した感じにならず、結局使いにくかったです。

Ich nutze dieses Dock am Steam Deck in Verbindung mit einem kurzen USB-C-Verlängerungskabel, um die Lüftungsschlitze nicht zu blockieren und für Zugentlastung am Port zu sorgen. Läuft absolut reibungslos. Wenn da noch ein Ethernet-Port hätte Platz finden können, wäre es perfekt. Die Nutzung von DeX am Samsung-Handy ist gleichermaßen gut, dort ist das Verlängerungskabel aber nicht nötig, weil beide einfach zusammen flach auf dem Tisch liegen können, ohne dass der Port belastet wird.

Unlike cheaper options, allows you to charge while connecting iPad to USB and headphones. I use it to connect several midi controllers on a USB hub to my iPad Pro. Works perfectly, looks nice too.
