It's a good value for the price. The rack was very solid after assembly, even with nothing mounted in it. Used the 10-32 mounting holes, all of the spacing and threads were good. Some of the reviews for this complained about the hole spacing, be sure and count in threes per rack unit. Both the steel and screws they used for this seem to be decent quality, I cranked down on most of the hardware, and nothing stripped out. It's obviously not a professional level server rack, but it works great for a home lab, or even a rack for a small office. There were no real instructions for assembly, but honestly it's relatively self explanatory. The screws for actual rack assembly are already in all the correct holes and they leave them loose for easy removal for when you put it together. All in all, definitely recommended.

This is a very well made rack which I would happily recommend to anyone. It's super sturdy and easy to assemble. I had two issues with it which almost lost it a star (I'd have given it 4.5 stars if I could), but they wouldn't be an issue for everyone. Firstly, the four corner pieces have both standard and metric holes, and you can choose between them when you assemble the rack. The metric side of the corner posts sticks out on the inside of the cabinet, which prevented me from installing a specific sliding shelf I ordered. Some racks with this feature allow you to bend those surplus brackets out of the way, but that isn't possible on this rack because the side panels butt up against those brackets. All the other components I purchased fit perfectly. Secondly, the plastic material of which the casters are made is very hard and put little grooves in my hardwood floor under the full 100+ pound weight of the assembled and loaded cabinet. I ended up ordering some polyurethane casters to replace these, which was an additional cost I'd rather not have incurred. If you're using this on tile or low-pile carpet, the original casters should be perfectly fine.

I read the reviews and many complain about the screws not being good, or the holes not matching etc. I still bought as I have researched on YT and I am very happy with my purchase. Do not use power tools to put this together. The screws worked just fine and you will have PLENTY of them extra after you put it together. Also, if you want it to be extra secure, use locktit and it won't go anywhere. The wheels lock great and once you put your servers or whatever you bought this for, it's not rolling at all. I even bought extra screws as some reviews said to buy stronger screws...do not buy extra screws, you won't need them. My 2 servers fit great and it looks really cool.

This 12U server rack is a perfect solution for home servers. The case is very sturdy and feels solid when fully assembled. The integrated weeks allow for easily moving the server rack around. Two of the wheels have a wheel lock on them to prevent inadvertent movement. Installing various server rack accessories such as a PDU, Ethernet Switch, Patch Panel, etc. was very easy and the standard server rack spacing was followed. One of the drawbacks I faced with this unit is that the base was a bit off balance, leading to one of the wheels to be slightly raised off the ground. This wasn't much of an issue when more weight was on it, but be aware that there could be potential warping in some of the panels. Another negative was that there was some slight damage to one of the rack walls. The top layer had been scraped away, revealing the interior metal. It wasn't enough of an issue to return or replace it, but I would recommend inspecting each piece of the server rack upon arrival. Overall, it is a great server rack that offers a lot of space to fulfill various server rack needs.

I purchased this for my son as a way to consolidate various audio/studio and computer gear. I've worked in IT most of my career and have seen some pretty cheap racks before and wasn't expecting too much in the way of quality when I purchased this but was (pleasantly) surprised at it's construction and overall quality. The instructions were decent and assembly only took a few minutes for me to put it together (you'll need an extra set of hands for some of it) A power screwdriver would be handy but not required. I had no issues with the included hardware but I did purchase extra rack screws to be on the safe side as a few buyers mentioned they had problems with some of the hardware (I didn't). The packaging was done well and it arrived undamaged. The rack's finish was good too - it looks professional and more expensive than it is. I don't think I would ship gear installed in it or move it very often (like from room to room, etc.) but the castors are decent enough (again compared to what I was expecting for the price paid). This might make a good choice for home theater A/V gear but keep in mind that it does not have a front or back to it so if your setup isn't in it's own closet or room it may not be the right choice.

Okay, so right off the bat? It's a bit shorter in depth than I was hoping. But we'll ignore that. Is it stable? Sure. With a massive caveat of "It's cheap flimsy metal that bends real easy and doesn't hold itself together very well". So lots and lots of screws hold this whole thing together, but none of them really address the fact that all the verticals are single axis flex in terms of how they link to the base and lid. So it's very, VERY easy for them to bend. And yes. The front and back verticals can link in place with additional screws for another axis of security, so that's at least a SLIGHT improvement... except for where it MATTERS, which is the base. The top doesn't hold things as securely as the designers were probably hoping when they made it the one thing holding the main bars in place on the front-to-back axis and keeping them from flexing on the side to side axis. So you know. Problems there. The instructions are a joke. They might as well not exist, you sort of have to figure it out by trial and error a little, you basically get a "This is what it should look like when it's done" diagram, and have to sort of nail out the type of screw you want to use. Which isn't even that important because it comes with Both types, and you're not likely to mount anything that even requires any screws that thread directly into the devices themselves, they'll all be open hole sockets. I ended up not using the included screws, because why would I do that when I could just use a bag of M6 screws with proper nylon nuts that I bought instead. Also this is not meant to be used with cage nuts. The threading is direct into the frame itself. Which precludes the use of things like drawer slides for servers. Keep that in mind, because yeah. It will stop you using some hardware like that. Which is more than mildly inconvenient. Look, does it keep my server and main PC tidy since both are in 4U cases now? Yes. Does my server stick out of the back of this thing hilariously, like a badly botched BBL job? Yes, it does. Does it still conveniently roll around? Yes. But here's the thing. The body of this rack has NO damping whatsoever(it is loud. A simple layer of foam along the top and bottom of the shell would have stopped this), the body fitting is a mess(even just a peg in the bottom to hold the verticals in place would have made a huge difference), the lack of cage nut compatibility is bad for server owners who like sliding rails, and it's all just a bit too tailored-for-the-audio-nerds... which is weird, because it's the perfect height for fitting under an office desk. Which makes it great for the server nerds like me who don't want to go full stack yet. The main thing holding this thing together are the other things attached to it. And that's not brilliant. But it works. I guess as a budget model, it's a good start.

Couldn't be happier with my 12U Rack. Purchased to rack mount networking equipment for a homelab. Shipped in safe packaging that prevented damage in transit, and the rack is amazing quality with a very nice finish, not glossy which I definitely prefer. Wheels are great for when I need to get to the back of it, and they include locks to make sure it doesn't move when you don't want to. Keith who manages the brand is outstanding, beyond helpful and had answers for the few questions I had. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great rack for their home lab, well worth the money!

Easy to build. Very secure. I’ve got a bunch of audio patch bays, bus processors, preamps, and out board compressors in there. Love the locking wheels. To those asking if this will work with audio rack gear: yes. It works perfectly.

Casi perfecto... El carro llegó perfecto pero la pequeña tapa de 1U si llego doblada, solo eso. Pero el ensamble súper sencillo, todo maquinado muy bien y los tornillos ya ubicados en su posición no faltó nada. Además los pilares tienen roscas para tornillos americano y por el otro lado europeo... Y lo mejor que trae dicha tornillería para ambos casos y un desarmador pequeño pero muy bueno y estético. El precio lo vale.
