DEWALT 20 Compartment Pro Organizer (DWST14830)

I bought this to organize all the random hardware I've collected over the years. I've been using a cheaper plastic one that came as a picture hanging kit with screws/nails/anchors, and it's so flimsy that sometimes when you grab it by the side it bends and the stuff inside can spill over into different compartments and cause the lid to come unsnapped. Obviously I expected this to be much sturdier than a cheap, "free" organizer with a kit, but it still exceeded my expectations. The hinges are very sturdy and the lid lines up perfectly with the container, so you don't have to jiggle it around to get the snaps to close. I've had issues with that with craftsman boxes, so I was a little worried about that with this style of closure. In addition to the snaps in the front that are pretty much automatic just by pressing the lid down, it also has buckles on the size that keep the lid tightly closed, which could be used if the container is going to be banging around in the back of a truck or something. It's very thick, rigid plastic with no bend to it, so once the lid is closed the stuff in the compartments will stay where it belongs. I also like that the compartment sizes can be customized by removing plastic pieces. I like the way they designed the dividers so that there is one permanent divider right down the middle, then "double length" dividers that span the width of the gap between the edge and the permanent divider, then "single width" dividers that span the width of between the double width dividers. This design is more customizable than many other organizer boxes of this style while maintaining sturdiness of the compartments. **Note: This is not compatible with the T-Stack boxes. It sits comfortably on top, but does not snap on. Just FYI since it has a similar appearance to one of the organizers that is compatible with that system.

The DEWALT 20 Compartment Pro Organizer is a fantastic tool for keeping small parts, fasteners, and accessories neatly arranged. The compartments are thoughtfully laid out, and the case closes securely, keeping everything in place even when moved around. The only minor downside is that the removable plastic dividers don’t fit perfectly into their grooves—they can be slightly loose. But given the overall utility and the price, the quality is more than fair. Great value, highly functional, and a must-have for staying organized.

These are sturdy, well-designed and look good. I'm used to using Milwaukee PackOut organizers, so my standards are pretty high. I rate these as pretty much on par with the Milwaukee organizers. I like the lockable tabs that ensure I don't spill a whole bunch of stuff when I move them. I like that I can stack them, and the locking tabs on the sides allow me not only to be sure individual cases don't come open, but also to lock cases together when they are stacked. The removable dividers help me organize both large and small items.

Good to keep small stuff organized

Sturdy compartments. Haven't had one item spill over so that's a huge plus in my book. Holds quite a bit.

This things great, should have bought another. This thing holds stuff. I kick it around a room and jump off a book shelf onto it, like a Randy elbow drop, this things fine, holds up well. I got air on that elbow drop too.
