Here are my thoughts after a month of use: Appearance - The black shorts are sleek and have standard branding on the waist and right quad. They have a slight shine owing to the synthetic materials. The phone pocket is on the right leg. Function - The shorts have a snug fit around the legs and groin. The waist can feel tight after an hour or so as it compresses. When exercising or walking in hot climates, I felt they kept me cool and didn’t get soggy from sweat. They can accommodate a fair bit of stretch and minimise chafing, which is helpful for different leg movements. The phone pocket is handy, but I rarely use it outside the home as I wear looser shorts over these anyway. I wouldn’t wear these when lounging around the house, as the compression can be uncomfortable after a while. Durability - My shorts have had no rips or loose threads so far. They’ve survived several wash and high-heat tumble dry cycles without issue. I can see them lasting me a fair while before the elastic starts to loosen. Comparison - There are much cheaper options out there, but for the price point I think these offer a good combination of comfort, quality and durability.
