New Reproduction 108S-S3 OE Factory-style replacement Short-Style Red inserts stainless Slotted exhaust tips for various 1971-72 B-Body models. These exhaust tips are perfect if you want exhaust tips that fit well, perform properly and look good for years to come. The N42 Bright Exhaust Tip option was available for Super Bee, R/T and S.E. models. Often called Machine-Gun exhaust tips, these bright exhaust tips with red inlay were a not-so-subtle hint at the performance lurking beneath the hood. The original exhaust tips were manufactured in mild steel and chrome plated, a design that did not fare well against the elements and deteriorated after a few years. Modern fuel mixtures and emissions drastically shorten the lifespan of chrome, so these exhaust tips are manufactured in never-rust 304 stainless steel and with all proper contours to correctly replace the original. Each exhaust tip also features proper mounting hangars for a secure fit. This pair of B-Body exhaust tips is the short-style and features a 3 inches inner diameter.
