Wee Sing Grandpa's Magical Toys [VHS]

I bought this for my son because I wanted him to enjoy the things that I enjoyed as a kid. True wholesome entertainment. He enjoys singing along with the songs. I highly recommend this product!

In late 80’s and 90’s I was a Blockbuster store manager. When I was asked about a good family show. I always recommend this series. My five children grew up with them. And now my grandchildren love them. Different shows for different ages. But once they are old enough all of them are enjoyed. I even introduced them to my in-laws scored big points with the mother in law. These are timeless to children and now adults get a kick out of the scenery and outfits.

I enjoyed this when I was a kid and was delighted that my kids love it too (2yo, 4yo, 6yo with special needs). Kids just love the nursery-rhyme type songs across the ages, I guess, and most/all of the songs are presented as games, so my 4yo wanted to play these games as soon as the show was finished. Be ready! Note: The Dutch girl chants a rhyme about all the boys in the neighborhood being crazy over her and mentions an (albeit silly) boyfriend. She also gets visibly jealous/sour about a little girl who jump ropes just as well or better than her. I would say those are the only parts that rubbed me the wrong way.

My son (who is delayed with Down Sydnrome) had this movie on VHS years ago and frankly just wore it out. Recently for his birthday, his sister found the DVD on Amazon and so the magic of Grandpa's Toys has returned to our house (sometimes twice a day). Aside from my son's unknown allegiance to this movie, it is a great movie for the creativity and curiosity it provokes all in a family fun atmosphere. The songs are old classics .. warnining they get stuck in your head! Enjoy this movie, but no one on this earth will love this movie more than Phillip. For anyone that loves Barney the dinosaur, this is a guaranteed hit as it has the same key ingredients targeted for a slightly older audience.

Children of all ages will love this video. My children watched it on VHS when they were little and I was finally able to buy it o DVD for the grandkids. The grandchildren always ask to see the We Sing series and love to sing along and have fun.

As an elementary music teacher, I always think children need more of the classic children's songs and less of the current music offerings. This video is a good representation of familiar hand clapping games as well as rope skipping songs. I had originally bought this as a video when my own children were small. I did not know how it would be received from school children 20 + years later. I showed this to the entire Kindergarten population at our school and they loved it!! I think first grade would enjoy it as well. Very well done.

My 2 year old loves this . she tries doing all the dances and singing along with the DVD. She even tries doing then when the DVD is not on. Very entertaining for toddlers or young cgildren . my 8,9,10,11 year olds dont mind this being on and the 8 year old likes to watch it as long as no one knows about it. The kids love watching their sister get so excited and dance all around and clap. Really cute

昨年アメリカンスクール（ASIJ)を卒業した子供が小さい頃、擦り切れるまで見たビデオのDVDです。アマゾンのサイトでたまたま見つけたので、リージョンフリーのDVDプレーヤーと共に購入しました。ビデオより気持ち絵が濃い感じですが、画像がきれいで音も良く、昔の色々な思い出が次々と浮かび上がりました。因にWee Singシリーズは他もアマゾンからゲット。これらは楽天では手に入りません。

遊びに行ったおじいさんの部屋にはたくさんのおもちゃ・・・ そこで不思議なことに巻き込まれる３人・・・ なんと小さくなっておもちゃの世界へ・・・ そこで様々なお人形達（着ぐるみの大人）がお出迎え。 知っている曲が盛りだくさん。その上手遊び（アルプス一万尺のような） ボール、縄跳び、ダンスなどで一緒に遊びます。 うちのしたの子（１歳女）が大好きでこのビデオならどれだけ見ていても飽きまいという感じです。 赤ちゃんの時からお休みソングのようにしてつけていたからかもしれませんが 今では口ずさみリズムをとって楽しんでいます。 繰り返し見ることでさらに楽しさが倍増するようです。 うちでは手遊びの時は一緒に、ボールが出てきたらボールを、ダンスの時には親も一緒!ち!«同じように一緒にしてあげました。 最近では４歳の上の男の子と一緒にやっています。 メロディーを正確に口ずさんでいるのには驚きました。 １本目が伸びてしまい２本目を買いました。

I bought this for my granddaughter, all four of my children grew up with these when they were on VHS, was happy to find them on DVD.

Wee Sing Togetherが、とてもお気に入りの娘なので注文したのですが、Togetherのような着ぐるみの動物たちもあまり出てこないので、２歳の娘には少し退屈なようです・・・ 内容は、おもちゃ達が動き出し（人間がおもちゃ役）、子供達と遊ぶのですが、娘はおもちゃ役の人間が怖いみたいです。親が見て怖いとは思わないのですが、なぜか怖がっています。 もう少し年齢が上がり、話しの内容が理解できるようになってきたら、楽しんで見てくれるのではないかと期待しています。

2歳半の息子に見せましたが、全然興味をしめしてくれませんでした。 息子はリアリティ派なのでおもちゃが動くことに納得がいかなかったよう。 見せても、別のビデオを持ってきて交換するよう要求します。 女の子のほうが興味をしめすビデオかなぁと思ってます。
