These have been a godsend for my dad. He has been using them for years and we have had multiple sets. They have added greatly to my dads quality of life. He would not be able to enjoy TV without them. He has been hard of hearing for years and is hearing continues to decline but he still is able to hear the TV thanks to these. They work great and the TV can be turned at any volume while the wearer uses these - including having the TV totally muted. Although they don’t last forever - they are very sturdy and the ear pads can be replaced. We have multiple sets for each TV in the house. I am so grateful that we discovered these for my dad when we did - worth every penny and more!

My parents have been using this product for well over 10 years. It lasts a very long time because it’s made very well. The only issue they have is that it’s line-of-sight meaning if you move a foot away from being directly in front of the base you receive static. TV EARS has a newer model which allows the user to move around and still receive perfect sound without static of any kind. This product is perfect for the hard of hearing or if a person wants to watch tv while another is reading or sleeping in the same room. I highly recommend this product. after initial charge it worked for about 10 seconds and quit. I put it back in charger and left it for a couple of days and still didn't work, so I sent it back. I bought my first one a few months ago and because the sound quality was static sounding and volume button was very sensitive to movement I decided to get a back up since my charger allowed for 2 headsets. I do not recommend this product if you are on a fixed income because the quality is poor. I did all the recommended trouble shooting and still poor sound quality. You have to be very careful when adjusting the sound/on/off button. I talked to another person that had purchased this product and she has the same problem.

New Ears are great but Used/Like new Ears Dead on arrival. Possibly dead batteries.

I totally love my TV Ears! I purchased my first pair almost five years ago. For the hearing impaired, like me, it’s one of the best things you can do for yourself. TV Ears allow me to hear my tv much clearer than when I try to watch tv with just my hearing aids. Plus if you choose so, you can watch tv in total privacy or other people can share the tv with you at a normal volume, while you set your own volume on TV Ears. Everybody is happy. Please, if you’re tired of missing out on what is being said on your favorite programs, or asking others what was said, then you need tv ears ASAP. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I have been using TV ears for many years and prefer the earlier version to the present (digital) model. Unfortunately theoriginal model is no longer available from TV Ears directly. I ordered two of the reconditioned sets through Amazon.When the sets arrived, after charging them up according to directions, the sound on the right ear side of both sets wasvery faint. When I adjusted the volume on the right side until I could hear it, the left side became extremely loud (on both sets). After contacting the shipper, the sets were both returned for replacement with two other sets. When Ireceived the replacements and charged them up, one set worked and the other would not work at all. Again the unusable set was returned to the shipper. I am awaiting its return. Considering the expense of shipping the sets back and forth, it would make better sense to test the sets (when they have been reconditioned) prior to shipping them out.

I would recommend these to anyone with hearing loss. The ease of use that these have is very important
