Purchased the Meostar S2 82 with the 20x70 eye piece after looking at scopes including Swarovski for over a year. The S2 is a great scope. The view is clear all the way through the magnification range. Fine tuning is easy. I can read a sign at a truck stop about 3.5 miles from my house. Works great in low light. Also bought the stay-on cover and Manfrotto tripod. I think this compares favorably to more expensive scopes. I highly recommend this product I also suggest contacting Sport Optics in Hammond, La. They were very helpful.

First of all, right up front, I do not own this spotting scope.....yet. 😎 I am a Shooter, I like 300 to 800 yds. I have been researching spotting scopes with this in mind. I found an article that does a pretty good job reviewing some 14 spotting scopes. The article is titled "Spotting the Best", is in one of the "Guns&Ammo" series of magazines called, "Trigger", ( I bought the mag at Sam's club in Wisconsin). Article is by Eric Poole & D. Fabian and is in Volume 2, Number 2, 2014, (on display until 03/02/2015). In summary, the Meopta was rated as the #2 best scope, after the $4,000 Swarovski ATX, and, importantly, was rated the overall Best Value of all scopes reviewed. They tested the 30x60 wide angle eye piece. Maybe Santa will be good to me this year.
