I love this box, has weight to it strong

I finally found a place to bury this in concrete. I am rebuilding a step to the secondary rooms in the house and it will be perfect there. I am covering the keyhole with tape so nothing falls in the lock area. I always advise have one safe easy to find with crap in it then a second safe better hidden with the important items.

The dimensions are rounded down. I’d say it’s about 15 3/8 long, not 15. Should matter to most people but it was a painful surprise for me. As far as the key, it is shockingly wobbly, but it worked fine for me. No burrs or anything. Very few other options for this specific type of safe, so I think it’s definitely worth it. Also, no hesitation buy this cheaper version amongst similar looking ones with more features. Although I’m sure it would hurt a finger if you dropped the lid on it if you don’t splurge for the pneumatic arm version.

I've used it over over a year. I use it as a wall safe, and it stores a few things, I needed to keep away from girlfriends grandkids, like over the counter medication, and razors. worked great. I framed it in with 2x8's, then bolted to the 2x8's in case I want to store anything valuable in it, but honestly, it's storing things away from children. So, I'm using it, not as a floor safe, but a wall safe under 2x12 shelving, and it works great. Anyone whom steals it, is going to be greatly disappointed, lol.

Good lockbox. Just make sure you polish the metal burrs that reside on the keys before you insert them into the lock. Some have complained that the keys didn't work and I can see why that could happen. The metal flakes that were hanging from both my keys could easily foul the lock. The keys have a plated surface that chipped badly during the cutting process and never saw a wire brush. If you want perfection spend hundreds of dollars more. The lockbox is good temporary storage for valuables.

Just install it someplace in the floor and set a box on top of it and you should be good to go. Better yet put it in the floor under you cat box. No one wants to mess with those.... ;-) I am sure this could be broken into without too much effort so I think more than anything if you can install it someplace that is not easy to find it you should be fine. I have read that most people that rob a house try and spend no more than a few minuets in the house so putting this in the floor or someplace where people would not think to look should make you good to go.

I couldn't open the door. The key was not for that box. Returned for refund. I will not buy from this seller.
